  I drive a truck over the road and I always come to this hotel when I am in town. Your staff works really hard and Donna and Joe at the front desk are two that I really appreciate. Joe is a multitasker. He keeps a conversation going with me while handling other customers. He makes everything look so easy. He is so polite. Donna I just met and she is so sweet and caring. She made me feel wanted and she was so nice. The rooms are always so clean and quiet. Thank you for the great service and hard working staff.

  Stayed with my mom for a few days as we were in town for a funeral. One of the female night clerks when I approached her to ask a question about breakfast and wifi went into a tangent about how she couldn’t wait to get off work. My mom paid for the breakfast but they didn’t see it on their side so had to show the email confirmation every morning to get the voucher until one of our last days when they finally noted the account. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Things like window coverings need to be replaced especially in the hallways. But overall place was fine.

  I just had the absolute worst experience I have had in decades at this location. First we were misled about the breakfast. No breakfast secondly the entire floor that I stayed smelled of marijuana so bad I had a major headache when I left third I called corporate to complain. After I left I received a text message from the desk manager josephat G. Offering me a voucher for breakfast when I returned to the hotel for that voucher for breakfast I was treated with remarkable disrespect and rudeness by Joseph at G and told to leave the hotel and that they were not in fact going to honor what was texted to me instead he just wanted to treat me like garbage and then throw me out of the hotel. After I had already checked out and left and they texted me to come back. This was one of the most horrible customer service experiences I've ever had.

  Honestly it was a lot better before it was inherited and a management company was put in charge, it's privately owned, but, it's still a part of IHG, but it's clean and you can't beat the location so it's still worth staying there but having said that I have been on the lookout for something else, anyway, it's worth it, still staying there after 10 years so

  The front desk customer service person (young man) was rude. When asking my wife for an ID he said "ID". Apparently "please" and "thank you" are not required in customer service any more. He handed us the card keys for the room and I asked for the room number. He said "It's in there" pointing at the envelope with the card keys. Is it too much to ask to just VERBALLY tell me what it is? His entire attitude was dismissive, not welcoming. In our room, my wife discovered that there was water leaking from the ceiling behind the easy chair and dripping onto the floor. Didn't even bother calling the front desk about it because I was pretty sure the rude kid behind the front desk couldn't have cared less. Spend your money elsewhere. Holiday Inn-Rockford isn't appreciative enough that you spent it there.
