  Check-in was pleasant and very welcoming. The gentleman at the desk(7/01/2026@11am) was very professional and hospitable. He was wearing a suit and was distinguished in presence. It's worth noting as it's extremely rare find for this type of hotel. I was checked in immediately at my arrival of 11am. Was given a very nice room on the 4th floor facing Lake street. Only a small maintenance issue with the room that was immediately addressed without any inconvenience to me. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Microwave and fridge, plenty of outlets and lighting. The shower has great water pressure and water heats up quickly. The breakfast was prompt at 630am. Had a decent variety. FYI (to those who complain) it's included in the rate, there is sausage, eggs and potatoes along with oatmeal, Danish and bread options. This is a standard breakfast at no additional charge. It's more than sufficient and worthy of appreciation. Street level entry is an unmanned lobby with elevator to the lobby on the 2nd floor. Entry is also available from the adjacent parking lot with pedestrian bridge directly linked to the hotel. The hotel is extremely secure. Entry doors are locked at night. Once individuals are granted access to the 3nd floor lobby, rooms are only accessible with room key. This includes rooms on the 2nd floor as they are located behind secured doors. Some have mentioned issues with homeless individuals. There is one African American man that sits across from the Lake street entrance. He does say something when I'm coming and going. I simply focused on myself and walked away. He has never bothered me be beyond that, no cursing, never moves or gets up. At the intersection of Lake at Harlem, there are 3 more men actively holding up signs to vehicles at stop lights. And that is the supposed homeless population of downtown Oak Park(4 men). In addition, as I arrived back to the CTA Harlem/Lake station, a man asking for $ aboard the greenline train was instructed by personnel to get on the next train and leave the station. So, CTA and Metra staff are actively monitoring the situation. Thank you Holiday Inn Oak Park for an enjoyable and comfortable stay! I greatly appreciate your hospitality.

  Lovely newly opened location. Fantastic front desk staff and managers. I felt very welcomed when I arrived on my Birthday and the team made me feel special. Good security/offset access from street level. Great access to the Green Line station for easy trips to and from the city. I felt safe walking by myself to and from the station after midnight (concert). Clean functional room with lots of chair/pouf/lounge style multi use furniture and nice comfy bed. Good shower pressure and temp as well.

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Oak Park six weeks ago when we had a quick stop in Chicago. The hotel’s downtown were very expensive the weekend we could visit, so we stayed here. The price was right, parking was free, and it is just 2 blocks from the Green Line. The rooms were very nice, bed comfortable, and everything was spotless. It is located in an area in Oak Park with lots of restaurants, so convenient for a quick meal. It was so convenient to take the El downtown for dinner, sightseeing and just enjoying the lake front. I highly recommend this as a good place for your Chicago visit.

  I had an amazing stay here from start to finish! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by the manager, Roberto. Roberto is an amazing person who goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel valued and taken care of. He was attentive, incredibly helpful, and brought such positive energy to the entire experience. Thanks to Roberto and the team, our stay was exceptional. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to the area!

  Sono rimasto deluso principalmente per due motivi. Avevo chiesto stanza Suite King Bed silenziosa e tranquilla ed ho avuto un terzo piano (attenzione poiché la reception è al secondo piano in questo hotel. La mia stanza era affacciata sulla strada dal lato dei negozi e purtroppo le finestre non sono insonorizzate. Il termostato del climatizzatore della stanza non funzionava correttamente e non era facile impostare la temperatura. Ho sollecitato la riparazione ma nessuno è intervenuto nei miei 3 giorni di permanenza. Per il resto gli aspetti positivi della Suite King Bed è la grande dimensione e spazio e la metro vicinanza della linea CTA Green a 200 metri! Inoltre a pochi passi ci sono moltissimi negozi. Il quartiere Oak Park è molto carino ed accogliente. Giratelo qualche pomeriggio tra le 17 e le 20 !
