- MAMark AzbillJul 18, 20263.0When we walked into our room the floor was sticky. My wife took a wet wash cloth to clean it up. When she was done the wash cloth was black. No coffee maker in the room was a big let down. Have to go down to the lobby if you want a cup. When I did, they had two coffee makers only one working and noone at the desk to report it to.
- DBD BOWJun 14, 20264.0I've used this hotel a lot. They even called me in advance one time because they noticed my name and my rewards number was not attached. No matter who is working, hands down the friendly staff. Its within about 10 minutes of any were in Litchfield and maybe 40 minutes from springfield. My only complaint is the room lighting is very dim. Which is a little problematic if your eyes aren't great.
- EZEmerson ZentzJun 12, 20263.0One our deciding factors when we pick a hotel is the breakfast and usually a Holiday Inn Express is a major plus. Today we where told the pancake machine was broken, on further inspection after turning it on we recived a message of "replace bag". Bag was never replaced and machine was turned off again. Also they were out of those fantastic cinnamon rolls and was told the truck was late so they didn't have any, but it was 9 am and thinking more may not have wanted to be made. Good location and great rooms. We always look forward to those great pancakes and it was a bit of a let down.

We had a std. king room which had a mini fridge, microwave, plenty of USB charge points and a good size bathroom with a large walk in shower- great water pressure and plenty of hot water. A small vending area to buy some microwave food and nessicities left at home. Hot breakfast was on par with most other motels, all had hot and tasty. Only reason for a 4 star review was a rock hard mattress. The manager stated they get alot of comments on that and are trying to get new replacements.
