  The hotel is new and overall in great shape. The lobby was clean as well designed and free breakfast was decent. The room itself was good. Smelled clean, no major issues with the furniture. The downfall comes from the AC unit. They have it set that once the room hits the temp you set it to it stops and doesn't kick back on until it raises two or three degrees. So you're constantly fighting the rising temperature instead of allowing the room to just stay at a good temp. What's worse is that disabled the "constant fan" feature. We are people who need a fan noise to sleep. Not to mention, without the fan, you can hear any conversation happening in the hall clearly. Unfortunately because of the AC unit we slept terribly. Maybe a few hours here and there, but almost everytime the unit turned off we woke up.

  We stayed for almost a week for a getaway. This is a really clean hotel, however it is very, very busy and it appears it sells out nightly. Despite being busy it managed to be quiet which I thought was cool. It has some convenient access to quite a bit of stuff, however it is really on the edge of a lot of the development of the NW burbs and so it's not really the most centralized if you are wanting to explore. It is also hard to get northeast from this location. When I booked, I had asked for a top floor room. We had to arrive a bit later than we wanted, around 11:30. We called and let the hotel know in advance, but when we got there we got a room on the 2nd floor and when I asked about the top floor we were simply told the the hotel is full. I was surprised they didn't hold a room on the 4th floor instead of the 2nd floor based on my request. So I contacted management that evening and they got us moved the next day to a room on the 4th floor, and it was a simple and easy process too. I really appreciated this, and my son definitely did as he loves to be able to look out and see. We were able to see an owl one night and a buck another night which was pretty cool, and we wouldn't have seen that at all from our original room. Rooms are simple but very clean and have everything you need standard. Bathroom is a good size with a fan. There is no streaming for the TV unless you cast to it. Breakfast is definitely above average, and the price is beyond fair. Exercise facilities are 24/7 (as they always should be) and top of the line. Has a water dispenser for water bottles. Only other challenge can be the pool - it's tiny and there is no hot tub which sadly is an overall hotel trend. It is the smallest pool I have ever seen in a hotel. We got lucky and it wasn't busy the times we used it, but the hotel has 4 floors and I could easily see the pool being at capacity with like 10 people. Pool hours are generous though, which is always great to see. Overall very satisfied and would stay here again. It's was a great value for us.

  An unhappy position, around there is only a sports hall, a restaurant, a bowling alley with food facilities and a large shop selling everything you need for hunting, fishing and leisure. Bright and well-kept rooms, cleaning service is limited to the essentials. Breakfast with little choice but good.
