- MHMichael HJun 24, 20264.0Bathroom wasn't really clean and the shower head was barely reachable and I'm 6'3". Why it is that high makes no sense. Besides the Bathroom hotel was great.

I waited 40 minutes with no staff available, and my key card wouldn’t open the door (for the third time in three nights) . When someone finally showed up at reception, they weren’t even hotel staff—they were receiving phone instructions on how to program the key card! This is completely unacceptable. What kind of hotel doesn’t have trained personnel at check-in, especially during late hours? The lack of professionalism, the long wait, and the total confusion made an already tiring day even worse. Do not expect any basic level of service here.

A little more dated than other HIEs I've stayed in recently but the room was immaculately clean and the staff was very friendly. It's in a good location next to a major highway that offers a direct line to downtown Chicago. They will do housekeeping if you request it so be sure to do that at the desk as you're leaving each day. The breakfast staff was really friendly but the selections are somewhat limited (just the egg omelet and sausages for hot food each day). Not a bad HIE at all and we will stay here again if we're back in town. The manager checked us in when we arrived and he was super friendly and welcoming.
