The hotel was surprisingly great! Don't judge a book by its cover. My room (370) was clean. The beds comfortable and clean. Nice TV. Microwave and fridge and other amenities. I stayed 3 days and it was wonderful. I felt safe and secure and it was in a perfect area not far from downtown. Near the interstate. I will be back.

I got a great deal for a two-bed room, I didn't want to pay more than about $100 a night and this was a great place for it. I like staying outside of Chicago if possible whenever I visit.
Very clean, the room smelled so good. Hallways and elevator is always clean, staff is usually very helpful. I also picked this spot because of the convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel. Tons of good food options, I was pleasantly surprised.
Be forewarned, you will always here the highway. I was on the southeast end of the hotel, and even with the AC running you can always hear the traffic. This might not be a big deal for some people, but I wanted to mention it here.
The only thing I was annoyed about when I had originally made the reservation a month prior, I had called the front desk to see if they could email me a copy of the menu (I wanted to check it for allergy info), but the gal on the phone said she didn't have access to the menu. I asked if she could look into it in the meantime.... I never got a response back. So by the time I check in to the hotel, I was pretty annoyed to find out that the restaurant is literally NEXT TO the lobby itself, hah! It's not a huge deal, I was still able to order plenty of different foods despite my allergy, but again the customer service was a mixed bag. For example, the front desk clerk when we had been there during out stay was incredibly nice and helpful, so I'm glad they had her.
We’ve stayed here countless times over the past year due to frequent medical trips to the area. They offer a discount with our hospital which helps a lot. With the hospital discount, they used to give free breakfast vouchers to their restaurant which was a great deal, though it is sadly no longer included, but the restaurant staff has always been very lovely and the food was wonderful (I still dream about their breakfast skillets and steak burrito)
It’s a solid, well priced option that’s always available when we need it, whether on short notice or in advance. It’s nothing fancy and could certainly be updated, but the rooms are decent and clean, the beds are comfy, and the area feels safe. You can hear traffic from the highway, but it’s usually quiet inside aside from a few bad (and weird) experiences with rowdy room neighbors.
A few specific things to beware of:
- The elevators are kind of scary and one is often out of order.
- The hallways are really long, so if you’re put at the end of the hall, prepare for a long walk.
- People like to smoke directly in front of the lobby door, which is frustrating to walk through.
- The WiFi can be pretty flaky, so don't rely on it for important work, and a few TVs have had faulty remotes that were borderline unusable.
- They updated their door lock recently and are far fewer struggles now, but keeping your keycard near your phone will still usually disable it (though front desk fixes it quickly).
- The refrigerators are often not very cold and you have to mess with the dial.
- If you have a dog, there isn't a patch of grass directly outside the entrance and you have to walk across the parking lot to have grass access.
The staff is mostly kind, though a few have been less than friendly. Overall, it gets the job done for a basic, convenient stay, but there are definitely some quirks you should know about before booking.
Best [western plus] of all, there are a couple of cute black cats that like to linger outside the entrance that I always look forward to seeing! 🐈⬛🐈⬛

Hôtel à rafraîchir.
Douche d'un autre temps.
Bonne literie.
No comment !!
On est donc allé chez Ihop, situé à 2 pas.
Aucun geste commercial...
Cliente depuis plusieurs années chez BW et première grosse déception.
