  Hotel is in a nice and in a safe area right outside the city. The suite we booked did smell a little humid upon arrival. The front desk guy was very nice and welcoming. I do wish the suites had an individual thermostat for each room instead of just one for the whole suite. Breakfast was great and there was ample parking.

  This hotel is fabulous. I cant express the hospitality here. From the staff to the guests. Social hour is a great idea. Well worth the money for the stay. Great food. Cleanliness. And the extras are so great!!! It is a must you meet Roberto!!! He definitely needs a pay raise!!!!!!

  We spent the day in Chicago, so this hotel was a peaceful little retreat from the city (about 35-45 minutes away). It was in an area with little traffic and had space all around it, so I felt like I could relax and breathe deep! Room was nice and homey. Lobby area with fireplace was cozy. Fitness area was okay - a bit crowded with equipment in a small space, and people coming in and out to do laundry (the laundry area is connected to fitness area.) Breakfast was a fairly large selection, and the male host was friendly, joking around with guests and being silly with kids. The female breakfast host was all business though - she roped off the area exactly at 9:30, even though there were people waiting in line to get coffee and I was waiting to grab a muffin. She said, “Ma’am, we’re closed!” I looked at my watch and it was 9:33, and the muffins were RIGHT THERE behind her. Oh well, I get it… I want to be able to close when it’s closing time, too, and not wait on people. Overall a very peaceful stay.

  This stay drastically exceeded our expectations. We booked on a whim when coming back from a work trip and we were so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the bed and pillows themselves were comfortable and the breakfast they offered - wow! For continental, we were shocked when it wasn't "just" muffins, sausage links and eggs that come from a box. They had eggs in the styles of omelettes, some with a thick layer of cheese inside and others without, full on Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, a full fruit spread, yogurts, waffles, cereal, a large variety of breads between toast, bagels, english muffins, and those delicious hotel waffles. We bookmarked this hotel as a "must stay at" if we go through the area again. When we left I said "I definitely have to write a review about that place". 10/10 recommend!!

  Call State Bridge early this morning asking them to upgrade me to a one-bedroom king or queen I was told it shouldn't be no problem, when I got I checked in supposedly there were no rooms available. Surprisingly I seen that there was a king one-bedroom that was available. I went downstairs spoke with the front desk guy and he told me that he was going to look into it. And it should only take about a half hour to get back to me. I'm still waiting to hear from him. as far as getting me in that room I'm here for business I told him and the extra space would be nice. I have stayed at other Staybridge locations and I've never had a problem with doing an upgrade at no additional cost. the rooms are old and have outdated furniture. Not a good experience with this location 😕,Their Fitness area is very small
