  Hotel appeared to be cheaply renovated as the floors were very uneven. Extremely small rooms. Smoke detector battery was constantly beeping on 3rd floor. A previous guest must've cut their hair in the shower. Housekeeping had obviously not cleaned the shower as there was hair all over the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles as well as on the wall and floor. Also, the bathroom had "odd' stains on the flooring that were removed by a towel. I would NOT recommend staying here.

  Do Not stay hear! Dirty sheets, rude desk person, sticky floors and unusual oder in my room. NO STARS!!!! The area is nice, Texas roadhouse was very good. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Go to the Hilton on the other side of the mall

  Horrible experience. Their standards of clean are below subpar. The floor was sticky and dirty, the shower curtains and shower were dirty, the toilet was dirty, all the light switches were caked with dirt, and the back of headboard was covered in dandruff. And the microwave was broken. All the images I posted is exactly how the room came. And the manager Mike offered his "help" by gaslighting us. They will not give you a refund so I suggest you stay somewhere else.

  The new owners are doing a lot of great work to refurbish and refresh the property. The hotel itself is very quiet. Staff and guests are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are recently renovated and nicely appointed. There is a nice indoor pool and a little gym, although we did not use them. Breakfast is fresh every day and a good selection. The coffee is also good and enjoyable. Location is convenient to shopping and some dining options, as well as close to get to the city of Decatur for other dining and entertainment. We are very likely to return here for future stays.
