  I have stayed in many Best Westerns and Best Western Plus. This one is Best Western Minus. We booked two rooms and one had no window coverings! My room was dirty with large back hairs in the bed and on the bathroom floor, food smears on the nightstand. The refrigerator floor was a slimy flood. In the bathroom, the towel rack was pulled out of the wall and just about to fall off. The staff were very nice but could not move my brother or fix his window shade. They said they were full. They should not be renting a room with no window coverings! We seriously thought about moving over to one of the two very ancient motels in town. This is the only hotel built in flora since about 1939.

  Unfortunately, my check-in experience was disappointing. When I entered the room, there was no toilet paper and no soap in the bathroom or at the sink. The TV remote did not work, and although a coffee maker was provided, it did not work either. What was especially frustrating was that there were only 4–5 cars in the parking lot, so the hotel did not appear to be very busy. I expected the room to be properly stocked and everything to be working. The free breakfast was appreciated, but even with so few guests, we had to wait for the food to be brought out, which was inconvenient. Overall, the lack of basic room supplies and non-working amenities made the stay less comfortable than it should have been. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests have a better experience.

  Hotel has recently been given a face-lift. New paint and carpet throughout my room however, all the old fixtures were still in place. The AC unit in my room was proped up on some wooden blocks to keep it from falling off the wall. These kind of "quick" fixes should be addressed. Also, had a random live cable laying on the carpet coming from the AC plug. Shower had rusty and dirty fixtures.
