  I had a great experience thanks to Yusra at the front desk. She provided outstanding customer service from the moment I arrived. She was friendly, professional, and communicated everything clearly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Yusra was patient, attentive, and willing to answer all of my questions with a positive attitude. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about providing excellent service, and she definitely went above and beyond. Thank you, Yusra, for making such a positive impression—I truly appreciate your kindness and professionalism!

  ⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked a room in advance and arrived at 10 PM with our two children, expecting to check in. Instead, the staff told us that our reservation had been canceled. No one contacted us before our arrival, no explanation was provided, and we were left without a room late at night with two young children. This caused a lot of stress and inconvenience for our family. A confirmed reservation should mean something. A hotel should not leave guests stranded, especially families arriving late at night. The customer service and communication were extremely disappointing. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Please think twice before booking, especially if you are traveling with children.

  I made my reservation a day in advance. We spent the entire day walking around downtown Chicago with our two kids and were completely exhausted by the time we arrived at the hotel. Our children were already asleep in the car. The man at the front desk rudely told us that our reservation had been canceled because the hotel was sold out. They never even called or notified us in any way. That is completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Where were we supposed to sleep at that point? In our car? This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I’m extremely upset, and what made it even worse was that the staff showed absolutely no concern or empathy. They simply didn’t care

  Horrific, no idea why there are so many 5 star reviews this hotel is uninhabitable. Our first room was incredibly musty smelling and humid, water damage on the ceiling and the AC was incredibly filthy filled with dirt. They had one spare room they could show us and it was also disgusting just the same. We were unable to say in the hotel since it was so humid and smelled of mold and mildew so much our eyes watered. And all the hotel staff could offer was air freshener. We were not offered a credit or refund. Disappointing as we are usually very happy with the quality of Holiday inn. But this one was abysmal.

  I cannot believe how many 4 and 5 star reviews this location has received. Where do I start. We unfortunately got stuck at this place after every other hotel in the area hade been sold out. The hotel is dirty. The hotel went through a "renovation", which consists of paint. Cheap paint. Everything is old and dated. The GM and Owner obviously do not care how run down and nasty their hotel is let alone the upkeep it takes to run it. Our bathroom door was barely still together. There were dirty shoes prints in our bathroom tub, which I can only assume maintenance was fixing our tub right before we arrived and didn't bother to clean up. We had one towel in our bathroom, no towel rack. We had to go to the front desk for more as well as bedding for the sofa bed. Our room didn't smell clean as if housekeeping where just there it smelled like strong men's cologne. It was the most uncomfortable stay we've had coming from Embassey in Naperville to this. How do you manage to charge more than them when they actually give you an experience? My family will never return not matter what the circumstance is. Just goes to show you how much IHG cares about the quality of hotels they brand.
