  Completely disappointed 👎🏼 We were here visiting for one night, we arrived at 3 to check our two rooms. We enter the room and although they are small they are clean and comply with the essentials, I bring my children and for me it is important that they are comfortable. Everything was going well, we had a good night. The problem was at breakfast, which for me is a big negative; we arrived at 8:00 at the dining room and started serving ourselves breakfast, but when it came to get to the drinks, the juices or water did not come out, a woman (Ruth) approached, and said in an annoying way that the machine did It doesn’t work, so we looked for another drink and there was only coffee, of course I was not going to give coffee to my children of 1, 3 and 5 years old 😕 I told my husband to talk to Ruth, so that she could provide us with some water for the children and she was with a negative attitude and simply said that she could not do anything, so we asked to talk to the manager (Armando), and he said that he understood our annoyance but that the machine was broken and he could not do anything! Also with an annoyed face, as if we (the customers) were a nuisance to them. I was so upset because there wasn’t a single drink for my children! And the manager just couldn’t give a solution, what I’m saying is, couldn’t you get a jug and empty the juices in the jug? Or couldn’t you give me water in a container other than the machine? I’m surprised that Armando has that position if he can’t solve such a small problem! Then I saw that a girl asked Ruth for water and she opened the machine and with a smile gave her water straight from the machine, so it was me and I told her, “excuse me I need some water” and she with an angry attitude opened the machine and gave me the water, it made me feel so uncomfortable! Really?? I just wanted some water or something other than coffee for my children. What I’m saying is, I paid almost $900 for two rooms and there was no water either in the room or in the kitchen? I wouldn’t go back to this hotel knowing that I’m a nuisance to the staff 👎🏼

  Jessica is my favorite receptionist - she has been really nice and kind to give me a nice room with a good view - I appreciate the way show took care of me . Loved her energy and kindness . Thanks

  I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. I arrived a few hours early and was given a warm welcome by Vita who worked hard to graciously find me an early check in. When the room key didnt work she kindly took me back to the room with a new key and made sure it worked. She was friendly, professional and a wonderful ambassador for the holiday inn chain. The room and bed are great, whilst the breakfast had all that I needed. Its very close to Ohare, within 10 minutes. Its also about a 10-15 minute walk to target. Panera bread and McDonalds are next door, and Starbucks, 5 Guys, Lonestar and other restaraunts are about a 5 minute walk. Thanks Vita and the other great staff for a wonderful stay.

  Being an IHG platinum member for long time and this hotel is not going to be my list of staying unless the service is improved. The cost cutting is to the bone. Stayed here 4 nights but basically no room cleaning services, even though requested multiple times with front desk. The reason why I am giving 2 stars not 1 is because the staff is friendly on my other request of getting extra towels and blankets. The reason why no cleaning services seem come from the management of cost cutting. Also, no shuttle to the airport, even though there are multiple vans with airport shuttle to this hotel parked in the parking lot. Overall I think this hotel has gone through a very deep cost reduction that no enough staff to provide a typical service you expected from other IHG express near airport. I hope it got improved soon.

  This was one of my worst stays at an IHG hotel and a platium memeber I opened the fridge and found food from two days ago; the receipt said September 15th. The lady at the counter was not very friendly and we never got our welcome water. This will be my last stay at any IHG hotel; after sitting in the lobby, I saw a picture of a plane flying into two buildings, referencing 9/11. I will never use IHG again. The room was dirty, with the same mold stains on the wall from July when I was in room 502.
