  Das Hotel ist fast neu, super gepflegt, alles in einem makellosen Zustand! Die Zimmer sind schön und modern eingerichtet, wirken sehr europäisch, ohne Teppich! Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gibt wirklich richtigen Kaffee, nicht dass für die USA üblich, dünne, braune Wasser aus der Thermoskanne, sondern ein Automat mit echten Kaffeebohnen, wie man das aus Europa kennt. Zudem verkehrsgünstig in der Nähe des ORD Flughafen gelegen. Fußläufig auf der anderen Straßenseite, diverse Restaurants, Bars und ein Target!

  I have stayed here more times this year than my actual bed. Bella at the counter is the best! Hotel is cleaner than most and they are quick to address any issues. Again Bella is exceptional.

  Overall, a very good hotel in a good location, relatively new, and with excellent customer amenities. I've stayed there many times and was completely satisfied with the overall atmosphere and service. My only comment would be to one of the front desk staff regarding a situation that happened to me. Because I was feeling unwell during my multi-day stay, I missed breakfast, which is, of course, included in the room rate. Since I needed to take a pill that evening, I decided to go downstairs to get some yogurt, which was in the refrigerator in the dining room, in the same room as the front desk. I didn't want to get it myself, as it always represents a certain level of personal culture and etiquette, so I asked the evening front desk staff. A man introducing himself as Zajan, an employee who, as he himself said, has many years of experience, unfortunately refused to give me a free yogurt, falsely claiming that the refrigerator was locked without even checking. I felt a bit upset that, having spent a considerable amount on accommodation in a simple situation, I was treated this way. I believe Mr. Zajan omitted some important aspects of the topic, perhaps from his hospitality studies or professional staff training, regarding handling simple situations. But that's for his manager to judge whether he acted appropriately. Another day, I had a similar situation while accepting free coffee, and another person quickly and positively resolved my request without any problems. This is a positive assessment of the entire hotel, not the service department. I think that a more human approach to people, and not just a business-like character, when the price of yogurt is ridiculous and you can take it for free during breakfast, should influence Mr. Zajan's way of thinking.... Goood luck ! ..

  This Hotel is a Hidden Gem! Everything is so updated and Modernized. It makes the place feel very very welcoming! Bella at the front desk is the nicest person ever and very informative. I am very very pleased with our stay!

  I am becoming a fan of the Avid hotels for short term stays and no frills amenities. Had to take a quick trip to ORD for family issues. Staff here was very good, the location was nice as there was easy access to the airport which was 5 minutes away. No shuttle service. The breakfast offerings were on par with the Holiday inn express, the rooms are smaller but sufficient. Like the bigger lobby for hanging out and there were places to eat across the street.
