    Luxury hotel with all the amenities that you would expect for a hotel of this caliber. Convenient location to the Chicago Riverwalk. Excellent cleanliness and very comfortable bed. Beautiful rainfall shower.

    My wife and I had the most wonderful, amazing and memorable stay at the Langham! Truly one of the best hotels in Chicago. Everything from the rooms, the space, the location, the decor, comfort are all top-notch. And best of all is the wonderful customer service, the amazing, welcoming people. We especially loved and appreciated Marcus from the front desk and Ayao from room service. Both were extremely welcoming, kind, caring, very professional and customer-oriented.

    We last stayed here 9 yrs ago and wanted to return to Chicago,so we decided to do this for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. It did not dissapoint and we are so glad we returned,all the staff are just so friendly and very helpful. The room we chose was a Club Lounge again as that was perfect for us,we had a good view out. The room does not have a coffee machine which we had forgotten about,but with the lounge a few steps away it was easy to get a drink in the mornings. We had to ask for a iron & ironing board which arrived promptly. Prior to our arrival the hotel had asked for a photo & in the room was the photo supplied in a frame with a bottle of champagne 🍾 that was such a lovely thing to walk into after a long haul flight from the UK. The rooms now have Diptyque for the toiletries & shower,they are lovely. The lounge was great for breakfast & sets you up for a long day ahead,poached eggs came out perfect,during the day there are always snacks/drinks. We manged to get back for a afternoon tea,the scones & jam lovely. Check in & out easy,they will look after your bags if you want to explore more to make the most of your time there. The only thing this time we noticed were some children running around the lounge not quiet, as if it was a nursery,not the hotels fault. This was a stay we are so glad we had made,we could have gone elsewhere in the city,The Langham lived up to why we returned for a special occasion. Lastly see Phillippe The Chief Concierge he is amazing.

    I had an appointment on April 21st to view a king sized suite along with the clubhouse. When I arrived no one had a record of the appointment. They asked who I spoke to. I do not have a record of who I spoke to. A hotel of this caliber should have a record of such a phone call. Since they could not find record of my appointment, I called sales and events repeatedly and they asked who I talked to After going back and forth they said they would send someone down. I waited 15-20 minutes and no one came down so I called again. Then they tried to give me the run around again. Finally they sent down the concierge to show me the room. We go to the room it was just a king room- not a suite. We went back downstairs and someone came from sales and events and again asked who I originally spoke to since there was no appointment available. This person was not apologetic and very condescending. She also asked if I was sure if I had an appointment here. She should have apologized on the mixup on their end. I felt like that was rude and unprofessional for a hotel of this caliber. I feel like I may have been treated this way because I am black. I wanted an appointment to see the suite before I spend my money here- to see if it was enough space for the guests that I would have in the room with me. She never apologized for the way I was treated or the mixup at all.

    Impeccable service, incredible rooms, top tier. Completed 4 nights in Jr Suite. There is incredible attention to detail. True luxury experience. They have incredible locker room, gym and pool. Staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Excellent security with secure access. Every detail is thought through. This is a British hotel so a lot of the details and hardware are from there. The bathroom was amazing. Really good water pressure. The furniture was top tier. Hotel smelled really good. HVAC and electrical controls were so cool. Yes, they take care of you fully. This is a full service hotel. Extremely clean. The hotel restaurant has excellent breakfast and lunch. It’s close to incredible restaurants nearby. The key is I felt safe and comfortable. Hotel is quiet at night. There is valet and a major garage next to property if you prefer self park. It’s right on the river. There is a top tier coffee shop open business mornings first floor of the business entrance. They also offer complimentary brew coffee and tea in the morning. Literally everything is thought of. I chose this over Ritz, St Regis and four seasons and so happy I did. I highly recommend this property. If you are British, this is your hotel. Highly recommended without reservations and yes, I will return.
