This tour was included in the City Pass that we bought for our trip to Chicago. Took my husband and 2 young children today and we had a great time. My toddler loves boats/bridges/rivers/trains/buildings and we saw all of that from our boat. The views were amazing even on an overcast day. Eric our guide gave tons of interesting information about the city. We were surprised with the view of the city skyline at the end which was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone I know traveling to Chicago.

I had the opportunity to take the Chicago Architecture River Tour last week, departing from Michigan Avenue, and it was outstanding. Our guide, Jim, was sensational. He made the entire tour both fascinating and educational, sharing the history and architectural details of Chicago in a way that kept everyone engaged from start to finish.
I highly recommend this company, and if you have the chance, be sure to request Jim as your guide. He made an already great experience truly memorable and fun.

A must if you visit Chicago!
During my 3 days trip to Chicago this was my favorite. I love architecture so for me was a nice way to learn about the city. I’m glad we have Erick because you can see and feel he really enjoys to explain and respond questions during the tour. He even sang for us! My 9 years old asked him something about an abandoned factory and he nicely explain him with plain words so he could understand. We learned a lot of important things about the city, the flag the history and of course the architecture. Thank you Erick for making this tour an unforgettable experience for my family.
Only recommendation for this time of the year, bring your own blanket and take the 5 o 5:30 pm tour.

Highly recommend! I went on the 75 min architecture river tour and am so glad I did! Our tour guide Sam was spectacular. He was so friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, but made everything entertaining! I went on a chilly day and was pleased to find that the full bar also had hot drinks and even blankets available for purchase. This may have been my favorite part of the trip. Thanks Sam and Shoreline Sightseeing! I hope to do it again if I come back to Chicago
We did the Chicago River Boat Architecture Tour. We just walked right up, paid and hopped right on the boat. I can’t remember the tour guides name but I want to say Charlie. He was 34 years old and from the west side. He gave us a great experience and we learned so much about the architecture of the buildings. He provided fun commentary and kept my interest the whole time. The view from the boat was much prettier than I imagined and more than I saw on the streets. The boat itself was a very smooth ride.
