The tour itself was FANTASTIC, lots of great sights to behold while riding the boat. However, the highlight for me was Javier, our highly entertaining, and handsome, tour guide. He managed to deliver very interesting architectural facts about a lot of the buildings and skyscrapers along the boat ride while also keeping it fun and lighthearted. This review includes pictures captured by yours truly of some of the sights waiting for you to experience (some include Javier as well - you're welcome).
Now, there is one very small complaint I have, and it's not really related to the tour itself or its quality: the fact the pictures they are trying to sell to you at the end of the ride taken by their photographer before boarding are printed BEFORE you even agree to buy them, so if you decide not to buy them, these go to waste; this is a way to twist the tourists' arms by making them feel guilty if they dont buy the pics (at least those who are trying to fight against world pollution).

This cruise was the BEST way to see and learn about the history of Chicago’s iconic architecture and river. Sam S, our cruise dosen, was so knowledgeable and really curated a dynamic and entertaining tour even in the sweltering heat! (Also known as corn sweat…iykyk) Highly recommend this tour it was the highlight of my trip and I will definitely come back to do it again!

Sam S. was our tour guide and he was great! So witty, had me and my sister laughing every five minutes which was a great distraction from the heat. I feel like i learned so much about chicago’s history and how it lives on through the architecture in downtown which was really nice. 10/10 had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I booked this architecture tour through CityPASS, and it ended up being one of my favorite things I did in Chicago. The tour started right on time, and the entire crew was friendly, organized, and professional. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about Chicago’s history, architecture, and the city’s iconic buildings. It was the perfect balance of information without feeling overwhelming. If you’re visiting in the summer, I’d highly recommend the 7:30 p.m. tour (I went in June). During the 75-minute cruise, you get to experience the city in daylight, during golden hour, and as the skyline begins to light up after sunset. It made for some incredible views and photos. It’s a fantastic experience that’s enjoyable for all ages and one I’d definitely recommend if you’re visiting Chicago.

OMG--best tour I've ever taken!
I tried to get on this tour three different times, and this year I finally made it aboard. It was absolutely worth the wait.
The staff were amazing, both on deck and throughout the boat. We had Spencer as our guide, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. His dad jokes might need a little work, but he more than made up for it with the great information and experience he provided. If you have the chance to take a tour with him, I highly recommend it--and don't forget to leave him a tip after docking!
Anna was our bartender during the 75-minute tour and did a fantastic job. She offered a variety of options including draft beer, bottled beverages, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Card payments are accepted, which made everything easy and convenient.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it!
