  Was in Chicago for the NRA (Restaurant) show. This property is centrally located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk to the riverwalk. Historic building, service is impeccable. Used the gym daily while I was here. Two story, treadmills, elliptical and bicycle machines, 2nd floor free weights and machines. On site Michael Jordan’s steak house, breakfast restaurant and Starbucks. My room located on the 25th floor (not sure which tower (elevator next to Starbucks side). My room did not have a working desk unfortunately. I used a small side table and round chair to do my work. But the room did have a fridge, mini bar, bathroom fully stocked. No drawers, or stand for luggage. Something to think about next time.

Communication throughout the planning process was clear and efficient, which is invaluable when executing complex wedding days. From a design standpoint, the venue provides a stunning canvas, versatile enough to support both classic, opulent celebrations and more modern, fashion-forward interpretations. Guests consistently remark on the atmosphere, and couples feel truly taken care of throughout their entire experience. We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to many more celebrations at this iconic Chicago property!

  I have stayed here many times and have always been in a specific tower. Today upon checking in am in a different tower the room has no drawers a fridge that doesn’t work and there is really no place to put anything. I had to place my bags in a bathtub we won’t use since there is no where else to set anything. The staff even placed the hairdryer on a shelf that’s directly in the bathtub. Not what I’m accustomed to and there is no other option I was told by desk. Where are you supposed to put your stuff ???

  Would give it 2.5 stars if I could—not horrible, but definitely would not stay again. Rooms are tired and lack functionality. Had to unclog the shower drain myself after realizing it wasn’t draining due to clumps of hair in the drain. Bathroom vent caked with dust. Sink water pressure was nonexistent. No typical amenities like q tips or shower caps, and when I tried calling downstairs the phone would never connect, so had to go to the front desk to ask. Rooms are more like a 2-3 star hotel (lobby is deceivingly nice). Faded carpet, peeling paint, stained caulk, chips and scratches all over furniture. Staff is kind and helpful when asked.

  WE LOVE INTERCON! One of our favorite places to stay in Chicago because it's just so conveniently located, and has a truly fabulous pool. And even more so... It is perfect for getting ready spaces for weddings! The suites provide a beautiful, elevated setting with gorgeous lighting and plenty of space for bridal details, candid moments, and portraits. We especially love the timeless architecture and refined atmosphere throughout the property. Such a beautiful choice for couples getting married in downtown Chicago!
