  First, the good part: The staff is wonderful - very helpful and accommodating. The free breakfast is great - typical of a Holiday Inn Express. The location is great, very close to shopping and public transportation. Now, the not so good: TINY, TINY rooms. The queen bed nearly fills the entire room with barely any room to walk around it. There is a desk, and that's the only real flat surface in the whole room. My husband and I were constantly bumping into each other. If you're traveling alone, and only plan to sleep here, it's probably fine. But for more than one person, and if you want to relax in the room at all, it's just way too small. It's also quite noisy with sirens going 24/7. The hotel does offer a sleep kit with an eye mask and earplugs, which is nice.

  Holiday Inn Express – Chicago Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with friendly staff who made check-in and check-out quick and easy. The rooms were quiet and inviting, the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the location made it convenient to explore Chicago. A great value with excellent service—I would gladly stay here again.

  The location is outstanding. You get what you pay for, and this place is far from luxury. But for a quick trip in Chicago, and if you just need a place to sleep, this is a cheaper option that is absolutely in the right location.

  I'd like to give special recognition to Courtney Baldus at the Holiday Inn Express Chicago – Magnificent Mile. From the very start, Courtney was helpful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making a birthday celebration as special as possible. She took the time to understand exactly what I was hoping for, kept me updated throughout, and went well beyond what I expected. The room decorations she arranged were beautiful and far exceeded my expectations, and that attention to detail is what made the celebration truly memorable. What stood out most was how much pride Courtney clearly takes in creating a great experience for guests, a rare quality. Thank you, Courtney, and everyone who helped make it happen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel based on the exceptional service we received.

  The location of the Hotel is awesome. Walking distance to the Navy Pier, Eataly authentic Italian Restaurant, across the street from Traders Joe's, down the block from the best Pizzeria Due and bedt Chicago hot dog from Portillos. I will be coming to this hotel and the city in the future.
