  We stayed at the Holiday Inn at 7353 S Cicero Ave and parked in the diamond member designated parking spots and several weeks later in the mail received 3 tickets for a "parking violation". Still unsure what we even did wrong and impossible to even talk to someone to find out what parking violation even occurred since we were in diamond member parking. Extremely crooked and slimy move to provide free parking for diamond members and then we receive 3 tickets in the mail. Be careful here! Downright theft

  Room and front desk staff was very friendly and the room was clean. My biggest issue was the food and beverage. The bartender was getting progressively under the influence of something and would disappear for long stints at a time. Guests would walk in and walk out due to no service. When the front desk staff was notified about the situation, nothing seemed to be done about it. He came back to work and things proceeded as “normal”. Honestly this place sucks for food and bar. No one is treated as important and the only way it will survive, is the location to midway airport

  The stay started ok, the rooms were fine, no problems there. If things had ended there I wouldn't be rating it so low. First issue, breakfast is 18$ per person and everything was cold and gross. I got there around 8am. Not really early but not late enough for everything to be cold either. For that price and quality you're better off just going out and getting something. There are plenty of local restaurants and fast food in the area. The second and main issue is parking. They charge you 23$, not for the day but every time you enter and leave. This was not communicated properly at the front desk and any questions I had the staff said they had no idea how it works because its 3rd party and they dont control it. I paid ridiculous parking fees, there are many other hotels in the area that either have free parking or at the very least the staff controls and can explain the fee structure.

  So close to the airport (3 miles) and an incredible warm & welcoming staff. Arrived around 8pm for one night to catch an early flight, tired and hungry. Chinci (sp?) at the front desk recommended the restaurant in the lobby & also gave me a toothbrush & toothpaste when I realized I’d left my bag of toiletries at my parents.🤦🏻‍♀️ This hotel is newly built & modern. Everything is beautiful. The bed was cozy, nice pillows & the heat & a/c worked like a dream. The restaurant had incredible food & the bartender was so kind. Such a great place to stay. Will be back.
