  Really enjoyed my stay here :) The rooms were very clean, everything felt comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was so pleasant. A special mention to the guy at the reception — he was very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the stay feel even more comfortable. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

  From the beginning of our stay Karla was very welcoming and attentive. Karla made us feel at home even on vacation. The hotel is immaculate and recommend it to everyone. The staff is always offering assistance and the breakfast was amazing as well. The bar area is awesome as well. We will be staying here again when in Chicago. Thank you Karla for everything!!!

  This hotel, and the lobby especially, are beautiful. It's my second time staying in a Crowne Plaza; the first was in Melbourne AUS & was huge, but this cozy corner nice and close to highway 55 was just as pleasant. Carla and Lex helped us check-in and were incredibly kind, helpful, and funny while remaining professional; they offered advice on traffic and answered other pertinent questions. The breakfast attendant Binu went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of & paid a lot of attention to detail when it came to cleaning and stocking the breakfast area. A special thank you to Carla for helping me sign up for a membership. I should've been with IHG a lot sooner! If you need a place to stay 35-50ish minutes from the city center, look no further!

  I have no idea where the good reviews come from. Be WARNED. This place is old, dirty, smelly and in disrepair. The hallways gave us misgivings immediately. The smell and the mold on the ceiling and carpet made us feel like the pictures online are complete lies. The ceiling and carpet was also peeling in more places than we could count. The first room we were given, the door didn't open. Locked from the inside, meaning someone was ALREADY IN THERE. We had to go back downstairs and tell them. They gave us a different room and we finally saw the state of it. There are bugs under the counter in the bathroom. One giant waterbug was in the entry way. Endless stains on the carpet. TWO connecting doors on either side, connecting to random other rooms. The tiny TV with an old fashioned remote had no features, it was just for channel flipping through a dozen options. The tub was revolting, tried to wash away the stains and it didn't work. The shower drain was rusted and destroyed. More "stains" on the countertops and walls. The "breakfast" has a weird dude who watches you and follows you around. Even though there's also supposedly a hotel restaurant, so isn't breakfast supposed to just be a nice buffet? It's not. And the breakfast itself was the worst I've seen. Milk sitting out, soggy pieces of bread in a humid metal serving dish. Wet scrambled eggs. It was just awful and I would never come back. I regret even one night here and wish I had gone to the Marriott or Holiday Inn.

  This place qualifies as a basic MOTEL, not a hotel. It is run down and the posted pictures are misleading. I picked this place based on location and reviews (I have no idea what all the praise is about) This first sign of bad experience was upon check-in at the lobby, where 4 guys were sitting by the entrance with a dozen of open beer bottles. The staff were generally nice. Some towels were dirty or ripped. Essentially no real amenities (not even a safe in the room) The bathroom was a disaster. The floor of the shower is not built correctly, with the floor slopped away from the drain, causing the water to layer on the shower floor for days. The room would be humid and the shower walls and floor grew mold. I pointed this out to front desk (I asked for manager) and she told me the manager would call me (he didn't call.) By that time I was about to leave the property and I didn't want to keep thinking of this problem. It was a disgusting experience. To top it off, we were waken to a loud fire alarm at 6am on day of departure that kept going off for more than 2 hours (there was no fire) We left the motel and it was still going. Its the worst property in an area that doesn't have a whole lot of decent hotels. Just go somewhere else
