The bedding was itchy and the pillows were lumpy. They definitely didn't follow the "firm" & "soft" labels on them. Carpets were dirty especially in the hallway. Used bedding was kept on the floor in the hallway instead of in a bin. Loose fixtures including the thermostat. The noise level was slightly above average.
The staff was very friendly.

William at the restaurant showed excellent service. He was the best part of our stay at the hotel. All the staff is friendly, helpful and kind..
The hotel is older. Carpets are stained and musty. The room service does not automatically do a full service unless you ask which is hard because of a language barrier. Our AC unit was hanging off of the wall and our bathroom hooks were missing so you could not hang up toiletries. And our sheets had stains. Not the most comfortable stay.

Where do I start..A man tried to get in my room with a key, rooms were not clean, hotel was always filthy when I walked out, massive communication issues, etc. Let's begin:
1. I get there late at night and room was not clean. Hair in both beds, sink, toilet, tub, even the lotion dispenser on the wall. Pee on the toilet seat. Called the front desk and they had no other rooms available for me to switch to. Thank God I brought cleaning supplies so I had to clean my own room that night.
2. They have no microwave in the rooms. ONLY 1 COMMUNITY MICROWAVE in the lobby for all of their guests. That microwave was so disgusting. Dirty towels and food bags placed outside the doors.
3. My door was not secure and everytime the back door closed, my door also slammed back and forth. So I had to put a chair on the door and a towel underneath it so it wouldn't slam.
4. Don't take a shower in the mornings. The shower water is cold from everyone using it. Take it at night.
5. A man tried to get into my room with a key SMH. Saturday night, I called for the cleaning staff to schedule a full service cleaning for Sunday at 10am. Went to breakfast and came back to a half ass cleaned room. Floor was not swept, toilet was not cleaned. The ladies working couldn't have cleaned it thoroughly in 20 to 30 minutes. They literally spent an hr or more at the most cleaning each room on that floor (when I walked back from breakfast the lady was still working on the same room as before). So why was my room not cleaned to standard? Flagged down staff for them to come back to re-clean it. They never came back.
Anyways, I was laying down (around 5pm), I hear knocks on the door. I was not expecting company so why is someone knocking on my door? So I quietly go over to the peephole to see who it is without answering that I'm in there. They knock 3 times and A MALE THEN PROCEED TO TRY TO GET INTO MY ROOM WITH A KEY! I immediately yelled "get away from my door" and then he's gonna say he was maintenance staff. AT 5PM?! My room was already scheduled for a cleaning at 10AM? Please stop playing with me. When I checked in, the staff said my room number out loud which is a big No-No. So this had me seriously pissed off and scared.
So after the guy left, I immediately tried to call the front desk and, of course, no one answered. I kid you not I called at least 10 times back-to-back-to-back from my cell phone and from the hotel phone. Still no one answered. Now I don't feel safe leaving my hotel room to go to the front desk. So I have to wait, frantically in my room, for at least 30 to 45 minutes before I can't even feel safe leaving out. Especially since my room was right by the back door of the hotel.
Finally left my room to go to the front desk. Told the guy what happened. Funny thing was, was that he said that the phone didn't ring. Which means that somebody played with that phone on their shift. I asked the maintenance staff plus the front desk worker if there were any male maintenance workers today on shift. They told me yes. So I then proceeded to say then we need to talk to that male staff to confirm if he was the one that tried to get in my room. So, we spoke to the guy on shift and he did confirm that he tried to get in my room earlier. He had broken English (which is totally fine), so staff had to use a translator app to speak with him. He said that he made sure to announce that he was maintenance, but he definitely did NOT do that. Only when I yelled yell for him to get away from my door was the only time that he announced that he was maintenance staff. They reset the phone at the front desk and now the phone is "magically working" again.
6. They gave me vouchers for free breakfast and for free drinks. So after that entire fiasco, I definitely needed a drink. But of course the bar in the lobby is closed on Sundays.
Huge mass communication issues with staff all across the board. Dirty rooms, safety concerns. Spent almost $600 dollars for this room. I gave ALL them vouchers back at checkout I don't care. I will NOT be returning to this hotel.

On the first night I came back to my room at 11:30pm to find my room half cleaned, clothes and personal items missing. I followed up with the morning and night shift manager everyday through my stay to find a resolution to my items. They kept bouncing blame back and forth from morning and night shift without giving me a clear answer. Manager wouldn’t even check the cameras. Best they could do was free breakfast because they ‘couldn’t find it’. What a joke.
My employee came back one night to find his key card inactive. He went to front desk to get the card reassigned to his room, (didn’t confirm our identity or if the room was booked to someone else) turns out they had given away our room and walked in on someone while they were showering.
Room smelled like mildew immediately as we walked in, Rooms were very noisy, No lock box so we grabbed our things every morning. I have never felt this unsafe and pissed off while staying at a hotel before.

I honestly don’t know how this hotel has 3 stars. Our stay was one problem after another.
The first thing my kids found was human feces on the stairs by the side entrance from the parking lot. That alone should have been a huge red flag.
Then, when we got into bed and pulled back the covers, there was a human fingernail or toenail under the sheets. It was absolutely disgusting. We immediately called the front desk, and the employee who answered was incredibly rude and acted like, “Sorry, you’re out of luck.” No apology, no urgency, and no real attempt to make things right.
We reported everything again the next morning and were repeatedly told that the general manager would be notified. We stayed from Monday through Wednesday, and despite giving them both my phone number and email address, no one ever contacted us during our stay. It’s now been over a week, and I still haven’t received a phone call, email, or any acknowledgment.
To make matters worse, when they finally changed our sheets the next day, the “clean” sheets they brought were stained. The room itself was dirty, the carpet smelled awful, and everything in the hotel felt dark and run-down. After finding a nail in the bed, it really makes you question whether the bedding is even changed properly between guests.
The lack of cleanliness was bad enough, but the complete lack of customer service made the experience even worse. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.
