  We arrived on friday Aug 14th around 5 pm. We were celebrating my fiance Birthday and had plans to go to the Hollywood casino only about 10 mins away from the hotel. What a great experience, Andrew at the front desk was very pleasant. welcoming, friendly, professional, accommodating and down-to-earth. When we came down to check out the pool area we also meet Andrew's collegue Michael also at the front desk. He was also very kind and helpful without us even asking he gave us insight about the casino and the best place to park. When we returned back to the hotel after 11 pm we meet Julius the front desk evening employee. He was also very friendly, professional and attentive. We were very skeptical, due to a recent previous experience at one of your locations in florida, which was not very pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed by your amazing staff that I previously mentioned as well as the clean quiet and additional outdoors accommodation that your location provides. Your wonderful staff definitely made our experience wonderful. They deserve to be acknowledged. We highly recommend this location. Sorry we were looking for another convenient getaway for our 9 year anniversary and we were reminded how much we enjoyed are stay there. See you soon 😊

  Michael was the best person he helped me with all my questions in my stay have you seen my wife was pregnant and he offered her a bottle of water very good gentleman thank you Michael for everything

  The reviews are extremely misleading on this hotel and if you’re considering this one or the north Aurora location … 120% choose the other one for the location and surrounding area. The casino is definitely closed. The river smells AWFUL and is full of trash near the dam and along the banks. The train goes right behind the hotel and it’s really loud. This area of town is so run down and infiltrated with addicts, homeless people, and low income housing units that I do not feel safe at 8 pm as a traveling professional female even going for a walk outside on a bright sunny 95 degree summer evening. Every restaurant I attempted in downtown Aurora was closed so I went to an amazing place in Naperville last night - VAI’S … yum! I would never in a million years stay in this area again. I chose it over the other one which is right by where my work engagement is bc of misleading reviews and so did other people who flew in for my same training event. Mistake. The hotel is clean but definitely old and run down. The gym equipment might be from the late 80’s lol. There’s carpet in rooms which always grosses me out. Towels are old and very thin and rough … water pressure = 10/10 which is a big bonus though haha I will say that the staff has been INCREDIBLE!!! I checked in after midnight and the gentlemen working, Julius, was absolutely phenomenal and such a delight to arrive to after a 4+ hour drive and exhausted. The toilet wasn’t flushing well and I mentioned it to housekeeping on my way out the room the next morning - fixed when I got back and they left me extra towels as I had asked for - appreciated. Nothing bad to say about the employees. That’s the best part!

  Great hotel! Everything was clean and ready for us. No extra charges for parking was nice. Breakfast area was well-stocked and maintained with a nice seating space. Staff was very helpful
