My wife and I live a few miles from this hotel. Our plumbing in our house had issues and we needed a hotel for a couple days while plumbers fixed the issues. Unbelievably we were denied a room because we live too close. So we got a room at Hampton suites instead. Best Western? More like Worst Western

Best Western is my go to place when on the road. This one is one of the best. Really great rooms. Newer facilities. Pool and pet friendly. Truck parking is not that great. Something for my trucker friends to think about. Very good parking lot for cars though.

Be aware of this property's checkout policy before you book! There is a $35 fee for anything after 11am. It's not stated at the desk or at checkin and there are no advanced notice or courtesy reminders. In my case, the first I heard of the fee was when a staff member knocked on our door at 11:12 AM and told me I was going to be charged $35, which I was. I think this is a policy specific to this property. I've never come across anything like it. Very weird and off-putting to say the least. We are the kind of people who leave rooms clean and respect the rules. Why nickel and dime us?

Nice hotel. Clean beautiful building. Pool was nice. Room was nice. Breakfast was nice. Employees were terrible. It's the kind of bad that must trickle down from upper management because it seems to radiate from every employee. I lost track of how many times I heard the phrase, which was always presented with a smile, "I'm sorry sir, but our policy is...". I noticed the customer before, and after, me received the same phrase.
We came for the large family suite and provided quantity of guests and ages of each person when we booked it, but were still charged extra at check in.
Most hotel checkins are nice and easy, but not here, they run a tight ship! They would not let me check in, since it was my wife that initiated the check-in online. It was not enough for me to go back out to the car and get her ID, they made me go back out again and get her. ( Ihad a headache and we were tired from a long drive so each item seemed to add an extra level of annoyance. We were not met with hospitality, we were me with rules.) None of the items were that big of a deal, really, it was simply a combination of the policies AND the delivery that was grading on the soul.
There were additional annoyances, but I won't name them all.
Nothing needed to become a huge deal but each item graded on the experience. All done with a smile.
It's hard to enjoy a nice place when you feel the whip the second you enter and fear the whip at every turn.
It was a relief to drive away.

This was a horrible experience for our family. To start with the good, the staff was extremely friendly and great. The breakfast was decent. Now the bad. The rooms were absolutely horrible. Multiple cracked tiles all over the bathroom that desperately needed a renovation. The walls are paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING our neighbors were doing. We had originally booked a larger room but due to having a pet it wasn't available (just a heads up for pet owners, call ahead!). I didn't have any way to note that when making the reservation online. The beds were old and you could feel the springs. We paid almost $300. We could have stayed at a Disney hotel for less. The final cherry on our horrible room sundae was someone had left the alarm clock on set to 6:15 am. Thank you very much for helping me spend way too much money for the worst night's sleep of my life.
