  Pros: The staff were great, including the bartender. Rooms are fitted nicely with a big shower. The river view from the restaurant is beautiful. The spa was great, would definitely return. Very close to town with a cool walkway. Cons: summer price similar to high end Spokane hotel but does not justify. Bed had huge divots in them from high use, the hallway noise is very loud, the upgrade to river view is not worth it as it's on an angle (cannot see outside from bed), shower had signs of mold on ceiling. TV would buffer at times. Hotel would do in a pinch due to the high price. Wish there was competition as it's a cool town.

  The dinner was not what was addvertised.. ordered the London broil medium rare and it came out over cooked. A dollop of mashed potatoes would have been better presentation than a ice-cream scoop. Three layer carrot cake was a single sheet cake. The flies we bugging us the entire meal. Poor servers having to answer for the conditions.

  I have never in my whole entire wildfire career met a more unwelcoming, rude, money goudging tribe ever! I am literally shocked. As fire crew we are only allowed to work 14 to 21 days and then we must take R&R. I am at the 21 day mark but too far from home to go there for my required days off. Thought i might get a room at the casino Best Western. Nearly $300 dollars a night. A whole days wages just to not have to sleep in my truck again. She said that was government rate 😆 Then I go to the deli to get food before going back to camp and that girl was so very rude. Would not make eye contact, tell me how long my food would take or give me a number/take my name so i would know when it was ready. Fire crews don't waste your time there. Go to Sandpoint or Moyie Springs. Anywhere but the Kootenai owned Best Western and Casino

  My wife and I decided after looking at the weather, we wanted to book a night here instead of camping for our hike the next day and boy are we so happy that we did! The night we stayed, the weather also stayed in the mid 80s throughout most of the night! Check in was a breeze and we were given two complementary breakfast tickets for the restaurant and a free drink coupon for the casino! Our room was nice and clean, however, our tv would not change the channel even with the remote. Oh well, not the end of the world. The pool was nice and refreshing, though it felt like there was a lot of chlorine in it, but again that's okay too. We did gamble just a little bit, and the nice free drink was a fun bonus! All the gambling rooms felt clean, including the smoking side. The next day we got to use our free breakfast tickets and we have been at the restaurant before a few years back and were a bit nervous to try it again, but this time it was really good! Very fresh and yummy! I was even able to get the breakfast special too! Overall, we will definitely come back to stay!
