- BWBrian WeissAug 10, 20265.0I had stayed at Hotel 43 many times before and always liked the hotel, especially the downtown location and the convenience of being attached to Chandlers. On this stay, however, I had an issue with the air conditioning the first night, and although it improved after I brought it to the hotel’s attention, it still wasn’t completely resolved the second night. When I checked out, I explained how disappointed I was and said I probably would not stay again. What happened afterward completely changed my impression. Ben, the General Manager, personally called me, let me know that my stay had been fully comped, and offered me a complimentary future night so I would give the hotel another try. I had not asked for either of those things. Problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management responds when they do. Hotel 43 handled this as well as they possibly could and turned a very disappointing experience into a positive one. I appreciate the way they stood behind the guest experience, and I will absolutely continue to stay there when in Boise.

I love the large lobby area where you can enjoy a conversation. The ambience here is just wonderful. And the food at Chandler‘s outstanding.

A super nice welcome and the welcome staff at valet were very courteous and always ready to help . Great water pressure in the shower and a very comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave in the casework below the tv. The room and bath robes were a nice surprise. The lobby coffee and muffins are nice touch after my morning walk. Would love to stay again soon !
