  I stay in Boise several times throughout the year, and overall enjoy the Holiday Inn location near the Greenbelt. I am giving this location 3/5 stars principally due to the substantial increased "fees" that have been added to the total reservation costs. "Resort fees" as well as two other miscellaneous "fees" that added up to almost an entire additional night's worth of costs. Unfortunately, this means that I am now reserving alternative properties for my multi-night stays in the Boise area. Should these extra fees be eliminated in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Boise again.

  Clean, friendly, and a great location! I have no complaints at all - this will be my new place to stay in Boise. Breakfast had a lot of selections and was fresh, staff was particularly helpful, & my kids would have loved the gaming room. One small thing to note - they don’t clean the rooms while you’re here, just between guests.

  I came here with the university of Utah rugby team, they were accommodating of our late check in and gave us space to serve our catered meal to the team. Very good breakfast before we headed out to play our match! We know where to stay every time we come out to Boise!

  Leaving a detailed review, as my recent emails to leadership have not been addressed after multiple times of contacting. Upon check in our room was not ready, not the end of the world as we tried to check in right at 3pm. After going out for an early meal we checked in later that afternoon, it was a very busy and long check in wait but it looked like training was taking place. After arriving to our room, we dropped off our things and headed out to a concert at the ExtraMile arena. Once we got a good inspection of the room we noticed that things were not quite up to standard and parts of the room were in desperate need of some of TLC. - We did not have any toilet paper or clean towels in our room, front desk was not answering the phone so we walked down to wait in line and get these items for our room. - The shower curtain was partial broken so the curtain hung in a limp fashion - The towel rack is falling off the wall. - The floor of the shower had uncleaned spots and shower wall had hair stuck to it. - When opening a drawer under the tv, old trash and food was found from a previous guest. - Bed head board is falling apart, small pieces of fabric from head board were found on and around pillows. - In need of a severe hotel room facelift The front desk staff that heard our concerns were so very kind and offered to move us to a different room, but after driving from Utah to Boise and then attending a concert, the last thing we wanted to do was pack up our things and move rooms. They mentioned they will leave a note on our account and have leadership contact us at a later time. After 3 emails and an additional phone call from me, no one has attempted to contact me via phone or email for a resolution. Would find another hotel next time in the area. EDIT: Appreciate the google review response though no action was taken. I would gladly stay at this facility again if there was some type of service solution provided rather than a generic corporate response.

  I would give this place a one star if not for the woman that checked me and on Thursday and the man who helped me in the early hours of the night. A friend and I booked this hotel under a cousin and the first night I was bitten in my sleep but could not determine why and thought I was having a reaction to something else. The following night I was woken up with bites to my face and arms all over. I immediately alerted staff at 3am and was told to talk to management in the morning. When I talked management in the morning I was gaslight and told that it was “beetles” that were biting me and was referred to talk to the general manager on Monday. I was told by the IHG case worker that the GM would be contacting me first thing Monday morning and have still not heard anything. I am now having to go to the doctor to deal with the severe swelling on my arms thanks to the bedbug bites. There was a complete lack of care from management and this needs to be addressed immediately.
