The location is great, especially if you have a kid at BSU, and the breakfast is really good. Unfortunately, the staffing issues really affected the overall experience.
The hotel seems to be perpetually short-staffed, especially housekeeping. You're lucky if your room is ready at the 3:00 PM check-in time. If you're staying more than one night, you actually have to request housekeeping service, which seems backwards.
The airport shuttle isn't always available either, again seemingly because of staffing. There also seems to be only one person at the front desk at a time, even during the afternoon and evening. How is one person supposed to handle all the guests' needs, answer the phones, check people in and out, and deal with everything else that comes up?
I gave the service only two stars primarily because of the housekeeping issues.
That said, Courtney at the front desk is the best! She is friendly, helpful, and consistently great to deal with.
There are a couple of other front desk employees I didn't interact with much. One woman always has a big smile and says good morning even though she's clearly been there all night, which I always thought was impressive. There's also a sourpuss who doesn't seem particularly interested in being friendly.
The older gentleman who works at night says some pretty odd things. I think he thinks he's funny. The shuttle driver has a similar sense of humor. Maybe that's just an old-guy thing.
Overall, the location and breakfast are great, but with the ongoing housekeeping and staffing issues, we'll probably look for another hotel next time.

It is impossible to get your room serviced at this hotel. I have called three times now and have been promised service in my room and the room is still not been serviced. My trash cans are overflowing. I am diamond elite, and they still will not help me. Apparently they do not hire enough housekeeping here. Stay elsewhere. The hotel is nothing special and the service is poor.

The stay was amazing. Clean rooms and the staff was super helpful, friendly and wonderful to deal with. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Boise.

We were on a road trip and needed a place to rest.
Scroll, scroll, scroll. "Best breakfast." Sold. We booked and got a call an hour later that we couldn't stay because there were no rooms and they didn't know how they let us book it. Uh oh. Now what. Another 30 minutes pass and I get a message from Melissa our god send! There was a cancellation and she put us down for it! Praise be! If I am ever in Boise I'm staying there again! 5 stars just for Melissa and her customer service! Breakfast was great! I'm still talking about it and recommending the hotel to anyone traveling!
