There is no longer complimentary parking at the city parking garage. Parking is on the street ☹️

Very friendly when we checked in and shared some dining options nearby. Bed was comfy. Ample pillows. The shower drain was a bit slow and I did relay upon checkout. Unfortunately, they do not have their own parking and advised to park in the lot across the street.$6 a day.

I stayed here many years ago when it was a different brand, and going downhill. Huge improvement. Clean comfortable rooms, clean hallways. Very impressive

This is a great hotel. My room is fantastic! Located in downtown Waterloo, the view from my window isn't that great, but that is okay given it is raining and overcast. At first I wasn't to pleased about having to pay for parking, but the front desk ladies are so nice and communicative they explained the hotel is not allowed to validate parking anymore (new ownership of the garage) and that street parking is free between 4 pm-9 am. The garage parking is $6 a day (I'm just mentioning what guests would pay). That isn't too bad, but I didn't budget to pay for parking and I don't like having information being incorrect (not their fault, but I did suggest that whoever supplies information to companies that list them, should update that). Also, the garage is across the street. As it turned out, having a skywalk directly to the hotel from the garage is awesome since it was raining this morning! Once I figured out where to park, in the garage, near the skywalk entrance, I was able to easily get my things to my room. I just made sure that when I was visiting places of interest, I did other errands (like store, take out) before returning so I would only pay that parking fee once a day. The hotel is lovely and my room is immaculately clean! The bathtub, shower combination is in good repair, and the tub isn't slippery when standing to shower. The A/C works very well, too. The microwave and refrigerator are spotless. There are outlets on the lamp fixture between the beds and on the lamp at the desk however no USB ports. Breakfast is awesome. This morning was hot scrambled eggs and bacon. There is white sliced bread and bagels, a variety of prepackaged muffins. You can make your own pancakes or waffles. I was looking for yogurt (there isn't any), but I noticed there was hard boiled eggs, applesauce and fruit cups. Dry cereals and oatmeal packs. In addition to milk, there is also almond milk, which I thought was great. There is also a bowl of fresh apples. The typical juice/water dispensers and coffee (regular/decaf). The breakfast area is well stocked and clean. I appreciated the large seating options in two rooms. One with the television sound on, the other, off. I sat in the room with the silenced screen. Excellent accommodations at this hotel.
