Broken elevator, stained towel in bathroom, and broken air conditioner in the gym. They have heat on in the stairwells despite it being 80+ outside. One set of washer/driers is also broken.
Check-in was fast and friendly. The location is great. It is a very nice area, right near the water and lots of areas to explore.
Breakfast was OK, but not as well done as most other Staybridge Suites. The room is clean, quiet, and spacious.
The Internet is 20 Mpbs down and about the same up, when it wasn't bogged down by other people using it. Not great in 2026, but not bad during most of the day. I was able to do a video call and stream HD video at its best. When other people were also using it I had to switch to my 5G hotspot.
Parking is really convenient and reasonable at $20 a night. The street parking is free from 9pm to 9am, so that might meet your needs. There is a city lot across the street that is $10 per 24 hours, so that is the approach I took.
Overall it was fine, but too much is broken. One of the two elevators being broken for more than a day is especially problematic because the stairs are inaccessible from the first floor and the cleaning staff kept the one working elevator pretty tied up. The stairs are also littered with trash.
The hothouse of a gym was the main disappointment, since there isn't much they can do about the stairs not connecting to the first floor.

I am incredibly disappointed with our stay at this location. My family and I are currently driving cross-country in three separate vehicles to move from the West Coast to the East Coast. After a grueling day on the road, we pulled in close to midnight with my adult daughter, her husband, our dog, and myself—all of us absolutely exhausted.
The nightmare started at check-in. The front desk staff was completely unwelcoming and treated us as if our arrival was a massive inconvenience. To make matters worse, the clerk decided that late hour was the perfect time to conduct employee training. We were forced to stand there and wait forever just to get our keys when all we needed was sleep. On top of that, they hit us with a $20 parking fee *per vehicle*, milking an extra $60 out of us just to park the cars we are using for our move.
For a whopping **$385.48** for one night, you would expect a clean, comfortable room. Instead, we got a room with one king bed and a pull-out couch that was unbelievably uncomfortable. The bathroom was disgusting—there was hair left in the shower, and the baseboard had mold, peeling paint, and a literal hole in it.
Between the terrible beds, the filthy bathroom, and the hostile customer service, it was a VERY restless stay. This hotel is wildly overpriced and clearly does not care about cleanliness or hospitality. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
