    Usually Holiday Inns are lovely. My room was clean and looked nice. But I cannot leave a positive review starting from my very first encounter with the front desk when I arrived and stood at the counter. She didn't greet me and after a few minutes I asked if I was in the right place. The woman coldly said "Yes, give me a minute", while she continued to stare at her computer in silence. I found out later her name was Kim. Throughout the day/evening the front desk was empty and no one was there and lines had formed repeatedly. The pool and hot tub were extremely over-packed because it shared with the hotel next door. Outside my window on the river, crowds stayed up after 1:30am hollering and playing music with alcohol present. Front desk was rude when I would ask for help to have them ask to move the party away from sleeping guests. The pull-out loveseat was so uncomfortable that I decided to sleep on the cushions instead. I wouldn't have even paid $50 for this stay.

    Our room looked like someone tried to stomp the faucet off the wall in the bathroom. The faucet wasn’t fully attached and the tile was badly cracked. Bugs in our room, and the air conditioner sounded like a washing machine if it were full of rocks. I turned it off for awhile only for the temperature in the room to shoot up. It was going to be a sleepless night either way so I turned it back on. Would not ever stay here again.

    Horrible, room 358 air conditioner rattling so loud it’s like a jack hammer and it’s 89 degrees out. They have no other rooms left so couldn’t move us. Just offered a discount. The tv also doesn’t work. Crazy after how much money you spend I would not recommend

    Staff was beyond friendly. Bicycles for rent right down the parking lot. Standard breakfast 🧇 but the scones are fabulous. Excellent pool and hot tub. Exercise room is ok but a walking path is right behind the hotel right by the river. 5 ⭐️ well ok 4.5
