  After a very long day and a late flight, I arrived to the Staybridge ready to crash. I was greeted by Takara's welcoming smile and a quick check in process. After getting upstairs to my room, I quickly realized that the air-conditioning in the bedroom was not working. If you're still reading at this point you're probably wondering why all five stars are yellow. I'll tell you why, Takara is amazing, that's why! I gathered my things and went back down to the front desk. Ms. Takara first, came up to the room to try to reset the air-con. When that didn't work she found me a different room quickly and I was able to get a great night's rest on a very comfortable bed with some of the best pillows I've experienced in a hotel. This will definitely be my first choice to stay on my future trips to Cedar Rapids. Oh... and the breakfast was great, too! They had these delicious egg bite thingys and plenty of fresh fruit, not just the regular choice of an apple or banana. Five stars, would recommend.

  I want to start off by saying I really want to highlight the General Manager, Shiv at Staybridge. For some background, we drove 8+ hours and quickly found out upon check-in (at a different hotel) that it was very different from what we thought we were paying for. We felt deceived and desperate to find something else. We found availability at Staybridge 10 min away. We explained to Shiv the situation and he knew exactly what hotel we were referring to without having to name it ourselves (very telling). He was able to not only get us into a room that night, but he also cut us a really great deal since we were already in the hole $375 from the other place. We also had another party that fell into the same situation, and Shiv was able to squeeze them into the last room a couple of hours after we arrived. Since then, we have been able to hang out with family and catch up on the back patio and the lounge inside. Something we never could have done if we were at the other place. Thank you, so much, Shiv! You are heaven sent!

  This property staff is amazing! Thank you Gish for your amazing hospitality. We travel alot and I have never felt so taken care for. We will definitely be back. Gracias!

  Stayed here for a solo work trip and really enjoyed my stay. I booked the two-bed suite for 4 nights/4 days and found it very comfortable. The free laundry was extremely convenient, and I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and happy hour from 5:30–7 PM. They also offered free fountain soda, and the breakfast menu changed daily which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and overall the stay felt relaxing and welcoming. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and would definitely book here again.

  Me gustó mucho mi estancia en este hotel. La habitación era muy cómoda y limpia, la atención del personal fue excepcional en todo momento y la ubicación es muy buena. Además, el desayuno tiene bastante variedad y todo estaba muy rico. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí
