  A great hotel! Clean and quiet. Easy in and out. Alondra checked me in quickly and professionally! Fitness room equipment was first rate and well maintained. Water and towels were available.

  I booked without putting much thought or any research into it, but I guess I should have done a bit more. I had one night in Cedar Rapids and didn't want to just stay at the airport, but this hotel is also very poorly located. It's just in the middle of a bunch of highways, auto parts stores, and other cheap motels. It's bleak. Downtown Cedar Rapids was also pretty dead, but I'd still make sure to stay down there if I ever had to come back. The hotel itself is bare bones and unpleasant, even for a Holiday Inn Express. Paper thin walls, smelly old PTAC units, lumpy beds, and bare minimum bathrooms. Expect to know every time your upstairs neighbor gets up to go to the bathroom or your nextdoor neighbor coughs. The worst part is that there is no water pressure, as other reviews have noted. I don't mean just the cheap low flow showerheads you'd expect. I mean the water dribbles out of the showers and the sinks. You have to wrestle with the lousy bathroom faucet (which is cracking apart because of all the other people who have done this) to get just enough flow to clear the ledge of the counter. Clearly something is wrong and management has just decided not to address it. The staff I interacted with were all nice and friendly, and the room had been cleaned well. I'm sure they're doing their best to keep the place running. When a strong gust of wind eventually takes out the cardboard building, I hope management builds them a nicer replacement to work in.

  We had a bad experience here: numerous maintenance issues with the room, extremely noisy guests, not enough food or seats in the lobby to make use of the provided breakfast. Our room alarm clock went off at 6 a.m. and wouldn't shut off! It's a very loud hotel and sleep was very difficult. It's centrally located with easy access to the highway. That is the sole redeeming feature of this hotel. Avoid at all costs.

  Centrally located among gas stations, restaurants, shopping, more. Customer service was friendly & knowledgeable. Rooms were quite, comfortable bed & assorted pillows to suit nearly anyone. Shower had warm water & perfect pressure. Breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy was enjoyed by family. I preferred the fresh fruit, yogurt & cinnamon rolls. Children seemed to enjoy the pool, however I walked the neighborhood on the beautiful spring evening.
