Tripler Army Medical Center, the largest medical facility in the Pacific, is located on the lush island of Oahu, Hawaii. The IHG Army Hotel at TAMC offers comfortable suites in a central location just a few minutes from the airport.
For those joining us on TDY, PCS or unofficial travel, we have created the ideal temporary home. Once you've registered at the Central Building (Bldg 228), hop aboard the courtesy shuttle and visit local on-Post attractions. There's plenty to do here, from excellent golf to staying fit with the well-equipped TAMC Physical Fitness Center. Make plans to see a performance at the Army Community Theatre, or check out the gear and programs at the Outdoor Rec Center. Save time to take a tour of Fort Shafter, a National Historic Landmark, and visit the historic Palm Circle, Talian Fountain and other heritage sites.
Off-Post, you'll see why Oahu is considered the heart of Hawaii. Take a day to explore the five historic sites at Pearl Harbor which can't be missed. Walk in the footsteps of Hawaiian royalty at Iolani Palace, or visit the birthplace of modern surfing on the north shore!
Our suites offer everything from free high-speed Internet access, local calls and a 32-inch LCD cable TV with HBO to a living room and a desk with dataport. Start the day with a delicious, free breakfast and join us every Wednesday evening for a congenial meal at our Sundowner Social. Welcome to TAMC and Aloha!

- KSK StoleAug 24, 20265.0Very happy with my stay here. Visiting from TX care here for medical travel and brought family from Maui. IAN. At the front desk was excellent very understanding and accommodating in helping grant my request for my 2nd room to be available before 4pm as my sister will be getting out of the hospital post chemotherapy treatment around 1pm. He made it happen! And even better it was the 1st floor. This truly made our stay extra special. Thank you again IAN!!! And to the rest of the staff, they were all friendly. Highly recommend staying here for their excellent service, no parking fee, free self service laundry, complimentary breakfast and amazing views!

This hotel was our home for our first 10 days in Hawaii and although it's difficult living out of a hotel room with three kids, a spouse and a cat we were very well taken care of here! The rooms are clean and cosy with nice comfy beds, the views are spectacular and the staff are always on point. They do a nice basic breakfast every morning with everything you could need and if you have any requests/concerns the front desk staff are always at hand to answer and help you. Laundry and Ice machine are great helps also. The only downfall maybe the lack of an elevator for the less mobile members of the veteran community but for me I love a good workout of lugging kids and bags up flights of stairs so I enjoyed that side of things! Big shout out to ''Aloha'' at the front desk also, a really kind lady who always had a smile and was there to help. Thank you. all.

You can get uber / Lyft / grocery delivery here the person just has to have a valid ID to enter base. Put it in the instruction on the order and should have no issues. Aloha was so nice and accommodating. Yes the building is older and no elevator but honestly review the website before coming… if it doesn’t work for you then stay somewhere else. But I would recommend.
