  The condo was lovely and included a kitchenette, couch, TV and dressing room. Bed was very comfy, we were on the highest floor, with an incredible view of the beach and sea. The property has a pool, gym, and direct access to the beach. It’s important to note it isn’t a hotel, so don’t expect room service or daily room cleaned, for us we aren’t fussy and it worked perfectly. There are loads of restaurants and shops as you are right beside Whaler village, I recommend Hula grill (Get the Hula pie!) Genuinely one of the most scenic places we have ever stayed and we have been to the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles!

  Unfortunately, our experience at The Whaler Resort was very disappointing, especially considering the price we paid and the positive reviews we had read beforehand. Customer service was poor throughout our stay. The front desk was often unattended, making it difficult to get assistance when we needed it. After being approved for a late checkout, we left the property briefly and later found ourselves unable to get back into our room because our key had stopped working. There was no one at the front desk to help, and we had to wait before anyone became available. We also asked a housekeeping staff member for a few extra towels and were rudely told to go to the front desk instead, without any attempt to help. On top of that, we were surprised with over $500 in additional mandatory fees at check-in that were not clearly disclosed when we booked through Agoda. That left a very negative first impression and made the overall experience feel even more frustrating. For the amount we paid, we expected much better customer service and communication. While the location is beautiful, the lack of transparency and poor service made this a stay we would not choose again.

  First time staying here and won’t be the last! We couldn’t have picked a more centrally located hotel. So much to do and places to eat within walking distance! Love it here and can’t wait to come back!

  Nice accommodation, buy no room service. The room was nice and included a kitchenettes, TV and dressing room. The property has a pool, gym, and beach towels available. However, during our 7-day stay we received no room service despite several requests. The trash was never removed from the room and we didn't receive the fresh towels.

  Favorite place to stay on Maui - great views great rooms, and fantastic location on Kaanapali beach right next to the Whlaer's Village mall.
