It was the Good, Bad, and the Ugly... The Good: good view, okay location but nothing close enough to walk. Free parking. The Bad: "Limited AC". The bedroom, hallway, and bathroom reached over 100 degrees from 12pm to 12am. It felt like sauna. Outside temperature was only in the mid 80s. Top floor so it traps the heat... no elevator! The Bedroom and Bathroom are NOT USABLE at all from 12pm to 1am. The floor smelled like wet mop. A Walmart can of Fabreeze took care of that. The Ugly: Day 1: First day was unbearable. We arrived at 7pm and the unit felt like a sauna. AC was running full blast and turned on 3 floor fans. We left our bags and took off to go have dinner without unpacking. Hoping that it will cool down, it was still very hot when we returned. We emailed the host. We slept in the living room, on the floor, next to the AC unit. Couldn't sleep- back pain and heat. Day 2: We were told why the unit could've been hot. We decided to give it another try. Still way too hot. Slept in the living room. Day 3: I asked them we need move to another property because it was health risk. They said our money won't be refunded. That's fine. But they said the owner "graciously" offered 3 day credit. Besides, no vacant properties. So, we stayed. Day 4: They asked for our checkout time? Wait?? You "graciously" offered a credit for us to come back HERE if we checkout 3 days earlier?WHAT? Day 3-8: We just slept in the living room. Do NOT rent! Unit #3310

We stayed here for my husband's 40th birthday and overall ended up having a great vacation, though it didn't start off the way we had hoped. We arrived around 6:00–6:30 PM HST, but the office is only open from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Since there is no in-person assistance after hours, we had to call a number to receive a temporary key for check-in. While the process worked, it would have been reassuring to have staff available for guests arriving later in the evening. Our initial impression of the condo was that it was beautiful, but it was extremely hot inside. We later learned that air conditioning requires an additional daily fee, and the portable AC unit is kept in a locked storage box that can only be accessed by staff during office hours. Unfortunately, this meant we had to spend our first night relying only on fans, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. It's also worth noting that the portable unit only cools the living room area and would not have reached the bedroom. During our first night and early the next morning, we noticed some cockroaches. Being from Florida, we completely understand that tropical climates come with bugs, so we weren't upset at first, that they existed but would rather not have had to deal with during vacation. We reported everything to the office as soon as it opened. The staff assured us this wasn't uncommon for the climate and arranged to have the unit sprayed while we were out exploring, as well as unlock the AC unit. Unfortunately, when we returned after 5:30 PM, we saw notice for bug spray but the AC was never unlocked. Throughout that evening and early morning- the true extent of bug problem became apparent and overwhelming. At that point, we went to the office immediately once opened and was directed to the property manager, Victor, whom stepped in, and completely changed our experience. He was professional, empathetic, and incredibly solution-focused. He quickly found us the best comparable unit available and coordinated moving all of our belongings so we could continue enjoying our vacation without losing valuable time. The second condo was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and we didn't see a single bug during the remainder of our stay. The bedroom AC made a huge difference, and we slept much better. The view was still beautiful, although this unit overlooked the pool and offered less privacy than the first. Even so, it was a very pleasant place to stay. Overall, while we wish we hadn't experienced the initial issues and would have appreciated more staff availability outside normal office hours, we truly appreciated how Victor handled the situation. His customer service turned what could have been a very disappointing experience into a positive one. Because of how well the issues were ultimately resolved, we would consider staying here again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! This is without a doubt the worst hotel / resort i have ever stayed at hands down! Motel 6 would be a better stay this this dump. 1st when i entered the room it reeked like a public restroom. That urine / cleaner / urinal cake smell. Men you know what time talking about 2nd the room did not have AC. All it had was a portable AC unit that was locked to the master bedroom AND you have to pay a $15 per day fee just to use it! REDICULIOUS. Because of this the room was very uncomfortably warm. 3rd the wifi did not work. It would work for maybe 5min then disconnect. Restarting the modem would fix it for maybe 5min before it disconnects again. 4th the cable box in the living room area did not work. It had no video out to the TV. I moved the box from the bedroom to the living room and then it would work. After galivanting around Hawaii all day you just want to come back to the room relax while surfing the web and watching tv. Well you cant do that at this dump. 5th because the room was so hot we tried to open the windows and screen door to get a cross breeze esp off the ocean through the room. Well when i went to bed i noticed that there was a bunch of mosquitos in the bedroom. Well thats because the screens were literally falling off the window. Then when i climbed into bed the freaking sheets were ripped. A big ol hole in the fitted sheet. Speaking of.... The beds... uncomfortable. 6th a lot of things in the room were broken. I already mentioned the internet and the cable box. But also the large burner on the stove.. didnt work. There was like a power strip/USB power bank thing on the night stand so you can plug your phone in ear buds laptop etc..... It didnt work. In the shower there was ONLY a bar soap shelf/holder. There was absolutely nowhere to place anything else you might have in the shower like shampoo conditioner etc on. ANNND anything you put on the bar soap holder... including a bar of soap.... would just slip right off! 7th The showers never got above luke warm. 8th The coffee maker leaked 9th Also found a live cockroach in the kitchen on our 2nd to last day. We were very careful to leave the kitchen clean throwing away any leftover food and keeping everything sealed. Again DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!! If I could leave this place negative stars I would. WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!!
