  I want to start off by saying that Donna at the front desk was awesome. This is the reason that I gave this facility a 3-star rating versus a 2 star rating. However, I had a few issues while I was staying at this location. (1). A few spots of dried up blood was found on the comforter in my room. It took a total of 10.5-hours to get this issue resolve. Even after bringing this issue to the attention to young lady at the front desk and showed her the photos. (2). Kids running throughout the hallways after hours with no parental supervision (two nights in a row). (3). Dryers not drying your clothes during the first 50-minutes for $4.00. So, I had to pay another $4.00 (debit card machines only) to dry my clothes. (4). Limited items at breakfast. Some of the food was partial cooked and cold. (5). Reservation desk employees need to be more attentive to details when dealing with a customer.

  Lokalizacja spoko, w samym centrum przy plaży. Obsługa nie uprzejma, mimo zostawionego napiwku w pokoju pani sprzątająca pościeliła tylko jedno łóżko i rzuciła ręczniki niechlujnie na umywalkę. Kilka robaków, kanapy miały niepokojące plamy. Niesamowicie drogi hotel za takie warunki. Śniadanie wyjątkowo nie dobre. Mimo wykupionego śniadania zawsze kończyło się zakupami ze sklepu spożywczego rzeczy na śniadanie. Okna ledwo się zamykały i ledwo otwierały, na wejściu do pokoju odór starych mebli, a winda jedzie tak wolno że szybciej by było znaleźć schody w tych korytarzach, zejsc po nich i poczekać na windę drugi raz. Nie przyszłabym tu drugi raz.

  Great value and good customer service. The rooms are clean and standard. The breakfast is free so it’s expectedly meh. Gets the job done and location is great for walking around Kailua-Kona town, going to the beach, etc.

  I've been an IHG member for over 10 years and have stayed at many Holiday Inn hotels across the U.S. This was the first time I left feeling disappointed with the service. The positives first: the room was spacious for our family of six, the breakfast was excellent with hot food that was constantly refilled, parking was plentiful and convenient, the pool was nice, and the laundry facilities were affordable and easy to use. The price was fair for what we paid. The biggest issue was customer service. I requested an early check-in and was told the hotel was too busy. Later, I asked for a late check-out because our flight wasn't until the evening, and again I was told the hotel was too busy. During our entire stay (Sunday through Thursday), the hotel never appeared busy, and there were always plenty of empty parking spaces, so that explanation didn't seem to match what we experienced. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. The bathroom soap and conditioner were already nearly empty when we checked in, and despite letting the front desk know we had six guests, housekeeping never left enough towels. Some days we got four, some days three, but never six. One day the room was barely serviced at all. We also had to request more soap ourselves after running out, and the coffee supplies were never restocked. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential because the rooms, breakfast, and amenities were great. With more attentive housekeeping and a little more flexibility with guest requests, this could easily have been a much better experience.

  Worst holiday inn experience. Understaffed, funtiture has water rot smell, and cockroaches.... Pretty much waht you get is location
