  Visited July 17th 2026. Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel was disgustingly unclean, and it was very clear that cleanliness was not being prioritized at this location. The first room had dust, dirt, scum, and random stains throughout the room and bathroom. There was even gum stuck to the lamp beside the bed. If we were able to see it immediately, how did the staff responsible for cleaning and inspecting the room miss it? The buildup and scum in the shower were so thick that it was obvious the shower had either barely been cleaned or simply rinsed out. The front desk associate did try her best to be helpful, and we have no complaints about her. She assisted us and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also dusty, dirty, and covered in scum. At that point, it was clear that this was not an isolated issue with one room—it appeared to be a much bigger problem with the cleanliness standards at this hotel. We were given points back for the inconvenience, but after contacting IHG Corporate directly, I feel they should have done much more in terms of compensation considering the condition of both rooms and the overall experience. There was also an additional concern that should not be overlooked: the bathroom did not have the proper electrical outlet near the sink as required by state safety regulations. This is a serious potential electrocution hazard and should be addressed immediately. IHG needs to do a much better job of verifying that rooms are actually clean and properly inspected before allowing new guests to check in. Changing the sheets and towels is not enough. Guests should not have to walk into a room and discover dirt, grime, stains, leftover gum, and buildup that should have been caught during a basic inspection. Hopefully, this review will encourage IHG to take a closer look at this property and ensure that its cleanliness and safety standards are being followed. This experience was the complete opposite of the IHG location we frequently stay at in Valdosta, which has always provided a much better experience. I always take my own wipes and Disinfecting spray but this was such a bigger issue.

  This property could use some help. While it looks astetically appealing on the outside and inside the lobby, the accessible rooms can use some work. I stayed here about 2 weeks ago. The only rooms available when I arrived were accessible rooms. When I first entered my room on the 4th floor, my family and I were greeted by a lizard that was INSIDE the room on the window. Immediately we went down stairs and were able to swith to another accessible room on the 3rd floor. After setting in I notice a few dead roaches on the floor in the corner near the AC unit and 2 live roaches crawling on the wall. Then I look in the bathroom, there's a huge water stain on the wall. The paint was bubling up. The ONLY reason I stayed in the room is because it was in the middle of the night, I had been traveling all day and there were no rooms available in the town that I actually visiting. Aside from the mishaps with the rooms, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were probably the best hotel staff I've encountered in the last several years.

  My wife and I were experiencing a little homelessness and the lady up front was super rude upon asking for help with a coffee maker. I didn't get her name , but she's a black girl in her mid twenties. Oozing with the better than attitude and eventually hung up on the phone with my wife. Never would I pay a hundred and eighty to stay under such evil.

  Had to switch rooms air not working properly. Switched rooms then everything turned out. Went swimming had a good time after taking initial plung. Morning breakfast was great. One of the biggest breakfasts I have ever had at a motel. Thanks for the good food.
