  My experience was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had some issues with cleanliness in the room. I thought I had to go to the the front desk to report it after I spoke with housekeeping but the lady came back to my room stating that she reported it to management while passing me fresh, clean items. I had a wheelchair accessible room. For the most part it was until you got into the bathroom. The tub was like a regular tub, not like a walk in shower. As for the location, it is off of the interstate but it's in the cut. You'll miss it especially if you don't have GPS.

  The carpet in our room was so gross. We didn’t even feel comfortable taking off our shoes. Overall the rooms feel dirty and dinghy. This hotel needs renovation!

  Check in was smooth. Second experience at this location and this second time around was a lot better than the first. The deposit is $50. The lady at the front desk Angel was Nu and very attentive and made sure to take care of everybody in a timely manner. Breakfast is $12.99 so it’s not included which is fine because it’s set up like a restaurant vibe. Breakfast was good they don’t have the cinnamon rolls like the other holiday inn and they should look into adding those! Tiffany in the breakfast room was really great ! She noticed my daughter grits were kinda clumpy and she took it a replaced it and that was very thoughtful. My sun made sure that we tipped her! The room was good. The bathroom can be updated though because paint is peeling a bit. They don’t charge for parking like some of the previous holiday inns we recently experienced. Overall, it was a good experience. We were also able to do a late check out which was needed for us since we got in kinda late.

  Marquis S was polite and respectful when interacting with guests. He carried himself professionally and made the environment feel more welcoming. It’s clear that he takes pride in what he does. Overall, he provides solid service, and his dedication shows in the quality of his work.

  There were several issues that I feel warrant a portion of our charge to be refunded. This hotel had a movie premier onsite. We circled the parking lot multiple times and had to stalk when others would leave to finally get a parking spot. There's no reason why paying guests weren't able to park during their stay when the hotel could have made the movie premier attendees park elsewhere. Another issue was the smart mouthed bartender. My husband and I walked up to the bar and took a seat with our toddler while we looked at the menu to see what food we wanted to order and take back to our room. In the middle of some back and forth about what we might want, she said she's just never seen a toddler at a bar before. I asked her, isn't this where you place your order at? She said, well yeah. Neither of us appreciated being treated as though we were terrible parents who were about to party at the bar with their toddler. We immediately left for food offsite, only to fight for parking, yet again! That night, there was an obnoxiously loud crowd on the main floor, well past midnight. We couldn't sleep and neither could our toddler. We decided to a drive in hopes of getting her to fall asleep. On the way out, I asked the lady at the front desk if there were quiet hours or not. She said there was an event going on (the movie premier) and they should be clearing out around 12:30am. RIDICULOUS.
