  At check in, front desk didn't verify my ID or card which is a bit concerning. Took 3 room changes to get a decent room. Front desk did not even apologize for the inconvenience. They finally said sorry when I took down a pillow from the room with mildew stains on it. Breakfast lady was very friendly and even offered to cook additional food since we went down at 20 minutes before the end of service. We didn't need it but it was nice that she offered.

  The location is excellent. Unfortunately, when we arrived our room smelled strongly of pet pee. We asked to be moved immediately however the only other room available smelled even worse. We did not have time to cancel and book another hotel so we just dealt with it for 3 days. We purchased several oil diffusers to make it through. The facility was nice otherwise. A/C was good. Breakfast was better than expected and included gluten free options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Another major issue was the key maker was broken. Staff had to let us into our rooms each time.

  After I checked in, I was informed by the apathetic front desk agent that he couldn’t make a key because their system was down. I would have to be let in by staff each and every time I left my room. I said this was unacceptable and he eventually sent someone to fix the door lock so we had a key. The key, however, did not work for reentry from the pool. I had to walk in a wet swimsuit and coverup through the parking lot and back through the lobby to get to my room. I also had to ask where the pool was, the hours, and the breakfast hours. This is the first time I’ve ever checked into a hotel where I wasn’t automatically given that information. The front desk agent didn’t seem to care.

  No card key given, not a huge problem. Just had to wait. Internet didn’t work for me. I think it may have been connected. Man employee at front desk was very polite. Woman serving breakfast very kind. Other employees not so much. Clogged bathroom sink. Low pressure water. Weird shower curtain that got water all over the floor. Yes rooms have a smell but I have experienced that was older hotels with A/C. Yummy breakfast. Good parking. Great location to beach. Would stay again but hopefully not encounter bad attitudes again.

  I’m very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room had a musty smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Even more frustrating, for the entire 3 days and 2 nights, we were not given a working room key. My husband and I had to repeatedly walk from the pool area all the way to the front desk just to have someone let us back into our room or when we leave the hotel. This was extremely inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel stay. The first night, the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. However, when I later asked another clerk for the corporate office phone number, his attitude was very rude and unpleasant. I was simply trying to find out who I could contact about the problems we were experiencing. What concerns me even more is that another guest told us they had been staying at the hotel since Friday and also had not received a working room key. We checked in on Sunday, so this clearly appears to have been an ongoing issue that management should have addressed. Because we paid for a normal hotel stay and did not have proper access to our room for the entire stay, I believe we deserve a partial refund for the two nights and three days. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses these issues so future guests do not have the same experience.
