  Let me just say..I haven’t smelled since 2019 Covid but upon entering this room I was like a man who just seen God. Not bacon, not coffee, no smell at all. However the room had the most refreshing smell of mold ever. I was excited to say the least. Then came the slimy floors and poor air conditioner which unfortunately kept this review from being a complete 5/5 star review. Fungus would enjoy, most humans I’m not sure

  If you’re looking for one of the best places to stay on Saint Simons Island, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express. This trip was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They answered every question I had and even recommended some great local restaurants, attractions, and fun things to do around Saint Simons Island, which made our visit even better. As someone who travels frequently and has stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations across the country, I can honestly say this is one of the best I’ve experienced. The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to reach the beach, restaurants, shopping, and all of the island’s major attractions within just a few minutes. One thing that really stood out was how clean everything was, especially the bathroom. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt fresh the moment we walked in. The shower had excellent water pressure, and there was plenty of hot water even with my long showers, my wife still had plenty of hot water afterward, which earned the hotel some extra points! If you’re visiting Saint Simons Island for a vacation, weekend getaway, business trip, or family vacation, this Holiday Inn Express is an outstanding choice. Great location, exceptional customer service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a fantastic overall experience. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re on Saint Simons Island.

  I stayed there on one of the busiest weekends of the year for that area (July 4th weekend). The location of the hotel is top notch to be able to get to anywhere on the island. The service was exceptionally great from the second we walked in to the time we checked out. It was clean, stocked, and well kept. Would highly recommend booking a room at this place whether it’s a big weekend or a nice getaway!! I will be back!

  My room has a severe chemical smell, Im afraid of what is covering and what im breathing in, too afraid to check vents from mold I don't want to know if it's there or not. Shower floor has been painted recently but is chipping and drain isn't clean or is rusty. Only two bath towels in room, as im not a twig I'll end up using both and praying I don't accidentally drop one on the floor and not have a spare one. Teenagers (8 of them) were allowed to rent the room across from mine and had a party around midnight, after I called, the receptionist did try to go up and handle it and they pretended to be asleep and were quiet after that. Staff is excellent, but your policies may need to be updated. Free bottled water at check in and/or breakfast, would go a long way.

  Long story short my family booked two rooms, one single and one double beds. My wife and myself got the king room. For some reason we got put into a handicap room (101) and it felt like a hospital room. The blinds didn't want to go up and kept beeping at us along with the TV not working. So we asked if we can change rooms. The lady at the front was very nice and understanding. When we walked into our next room (116) we noticed an oder. After a while we walked into the bathroom (door was somewhat closed) and the sewage smell hit us. We sucked it up and just stayed. The room with the double beds (102) was having some weird water leak coming from somewhere. After a night the water kept showing up so they changed rooms also. The doors in this place doesn't close good either, so make sure you shut them. We didn't really get room service except they took our towels and never replaced them. No cleaning or anything. Breakfast was very mid when it comes to hotel food. I would not recommend staying here
