  Got there about 8:40pm. Long line of people waiting to check in with one rep but likely not a normal thing. The kids were excited to swim but the rep said oh the pool is closed for the season. Yep the indoor pool is closed and there was no notice anywhere upon booking or we wouldn’t have booked. Then we get into the room and there’s a smell like a different type of cleaner that was annoying. Lastly, we were going to give our kids a bath after a long road trip but the unsightly black hairs in the bathtub were a huge turnoff. My wife is blonde and I’m bald so rest assured they weren’t ours. Lastly, being an IHG rewards member does nothing for you because booking.com would have allowed us the same price AND free breakfast instead of the $14.99 per person thrashing. Only go if you’re desperate .

  Very disappointed. Booked this hotel for its more upscale reputation, typically we stay at choice hotels. We booked a king suite with 1.5 baths. The remote controls for the tvs were taped together, the pool not working and not listed on the app ( I would've booked elsewhere just so the kids could play.) Then the beautiful jacuzzi tub in the room had no drain plug. We asked the lady at the front desk who was snarky saying "we don't have that" I asked why did we pay almost 200 for things not to be working. She said even if they had the plug the jets in the jacuzzi tub don't work. In the hotel block that is here, I highly recommend booking in another hotel.

  Would NOT recommend this place. I originally wasn’t going to make a Google review, but our experience with their breakfast, and particularly their customer service when we had an issue with their breakfast, I can’t let slide. We stayed on the night of 9/24/26 and paid $14.99 each for the convenience of breakfast the next morning, totaling $35 for the both of us. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The eggs were the biggest issue as they had a rancid taste to the point my fiance couldn’t continue eating them after the first bite. The sausage, bacon, and potatoes were cold and stale. But the biggest kicker was that they served the milk in the 2-gallon container and when we poured ourselves some milk, there were black floaters all in it (see picture). I brought the issue up to the woman who had originally cashed us out for breakfast and was clearing tables. I was very respectful and polite when bringing it up, but as soon as she heard the word “refund,” you could see it in her face and her demeanor changed and she treated me so foul from there on after. It was like she felt personally offended and SHE was the one giving us the $35 back from her own pocket and not the hotel refunding us. She had an attitude with me the entire time after asking for the refund. I wish I had gotten her name but she was an older white woman working the cafe register on the morning of 9/25/26. My fiance and I have been traveling so I couldn’t write this review until today, but we still never got the refund onto our card for the horrendous breakfast. I’ll be calling corporate as well to make a complaint and I’ll try calling the hotel later for the refund, but based on past experiences I’m sure they’ll give me/us a tough time over it.

  I love the lobby aesthetics, very modern. The small amount of staff that was on duty was friendly. The room had an odor like an combination of mildew, body odor and smelly carpet. The linen on the bed appeared clean but there was definitely an odor on the mattress. Maybe the prior occupants had a pungent odor that penetrated the mattress. Who knows? Thank God I had my own sheets to sleep on top of the hotel's sheets. The bed was comfortable and the room appeared to be clean. The bathroom appeared to be clean as well but the shower curtain smelled like mildew. We asked about a late check out and we were denied because they had only "2" housekeepers on duty to clean over 50 rooms. I can reassure you that all those rooms aren't being sanitized properly and all the linens aren't being changed like they're supposed to be. Over all the hotel is nice but you're probably taking a gamble with the cleanliness of your room if the staff is short. They need to hire more housekeepers and inspect the rooms periodically to wash or replace shower curtains, clean the carpet and cover all the mattress with mattress covers and wash them periodically.

  From the moment I stepped off the elevator this morning, I knew I was in the right place. Valentina and Crystal were standing there full of energy, smiling, greeting me like I was the highlight of their day. Seeing their faces genuinely made my morning. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want from a Holiday Inn Express but the staff is what sets this location apart. Valentina and Crystal bring a level of warmth, professionalism, and positivity that you just don’t find everywhere. Their energy carries the whole lobby, and it’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for a stay where the people make the difference, this is the spot. I left the elevator feeling better than when I got on it, and that says everything.
