  The room was very clean. The pool area was one of the highlights of our stay. Clean, well kept, beautifully landscaped. I was surprised at the wonderful pool/courtyard area. The hallways could use some updating, but the rooms and the pool are wonderful. The staff is also wonderful. I actually left my wallet at the hotel upon my departure and didn't realize until I returned home 5 hours away. I called the hotel and the cleaning staff had turned it in and the kind woman at the front desk arranged to overnight it back to me immediately. The location is a short drive to downtown and everything we wanted/needed to do. The price was fantastic. We plan to stay again next year when we return for our annual event!

  Checked in with Shea at front desk, she was great, streamlined and excellent experience. Room was clean chose a accessible handicap room which was a bonus making our stay overnight terrific across from breakfast room! Unfortunately their coffee machine was not working but Shea and an assistant made the best of it and assured guests it was being rectified, she is a bright light and we are more likely staying whenever in the area👍

  The receptionist made this stay. She was super polite, funny, and super personable. She came in with a save for me when I realized that I booked my stay on the wrong day. The room was not great, not clean. But the beds were clean and worked for an overnight stay. The breakfast was just okay. Avoid the sausage-they microwave it in water, making sausage link soup. 😬

  Everyone here was very kind, especially Billie (day shift) and Jamae (night shift). They helped us accommodate a rough situation with our truck breaking down and were very helpful and easy to work with, no matter the hour or day. The facility was actually quite beautiful, smelled nice, and rooms were clean. House keeping was also very kind and worked hard to keep the place tidy. We were traveling with trailers and a Uhaul, to which they had plenty of big Semi parking and cameras to watch the trailer we had to inveitably drop while our truck was at the shop down the road. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and I felt my property and being was well taken care of at this location. Would definitely stay here again, especially if it meant working with Billie and Jamae!

  My stay itself was okay, and the room was fine. But what happened with my driver’s license was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I stayed September 2nd to September 3rd. At check-in, the front desk employee took my driver’s license and never gave it back. I didn’t realize at the time, and because I had no reason to take it out during the rest of my trip, I continued traveling without it, not knowing I didn’t have it. I drove from Macon, Georgia, all the way to St. Augustine, Florida, then back to Douglasville, Georgia, and then all the way to Huntsville, Alabama, all without my physical driver’s license. I only discovered it was missing when another hotel asked me for ID. I panicked. I’m an American citizen, but I have a strong accent, and with everything happening today, the idea of being pulled over or questioned without physical identification was terrifying. A hotel taking a guest’s government-issued ID and failing to return it is a very serious matter. What made it worse was the hotel’s response. I got conflicting stories about whether they could find it, whether it had been shipped, and when. At one point, I was told I had to pay about thirty seven dollars for FedEx, to fix their mistake, which is unbelievable. I was also promised a callback that never came. I had to keep following up myself. When I called again today, I was told it had only just been mailed, not when I was led to believe. And no one could clearly explain how it was shipped. So, I still don’t know when I’ll actually get it back. Meanwhile, I need my ID for a job-related fingerprinting appointment next Monday. This situation has caused unnecessary stress, risk, and inconvenience. I would give zero stars if that were possible. Management seriously needs to review procedures for handling guests’ identification and take responsibility when they make a serious mistake. The guest should not have to chase answers or pay to fix the hotel’s error. Feel free to read it through and tell me any phrasing you want dialed up or down. 'When it comes to handling a guest’s ID and taking responsibility, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Zero stars if possible. Management needs to fix this now.'
