Nice hotel easy to get to from I95, Rooms comfortable mind you was surprised that the a/c unit was set at 75F so for me getting there late isn't much fun to having to wait for the room to cool down but that's life. Breakfast was ok they do have a pool didn't use as late in the evening just wanted to sleep. Look forward to going back

Nice place. The lady who checked us in was friendly and made sure we had a cookie 🍪 😋 The morning crew were friendly and the free breakfast was rather enjoyable. I would recommend this place.

This little hotel is a hidden gem! Super friendly staff, excellent full breakfast, clean rooms, & comfortable beds with extra pillows! All for a very reasonable price compared to the larger hotels in their area. Will stay here again!

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Kingsland (Georgia) on July 26, 2026. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly greeted by a female hotel desk worker who was very helpful, cheerful, and friendly. She assigned us to room 227, and we went upstairs to check out the room. Things took an interesting turn upon arrival, as the key cards we were given did not open the door. However, upon grabbing the door handle, the door opened easily. We closed the door and tried it again--it opened again without using the key. We returned to the front desk and reported the door lock situation. The desk worker apologized saying she'd never encountered that situation before. She advised that she'd report the issue to maintenance, and promptly assigned us to another room -- room 109 down the hall. The room was relatively clean, and the door locked as it should have. We felt better and brought our stuff inside for the night. The only issue we noticed was rather weak shower water pressure, which we decided we could live with. The next morning we enjoyed a good breakfast, after which we loaded our stuff and went out to our car to pack up and leave. Upon returning to our room, our key cards suddenly didn't work. We pulled on the handle and the door opened easily--just like room 227 the day before! We closed the door and tried again without the key card - the door opened. My wife was mortified, as she'd left her purse in the room while we had loaded the car. What if someone had come behind us and simply opened the door like we did? We no longer felt secure knowing that the door lock key system had apparently once again malfunctioned. We checked out of our room, and explained the situation to the morning desk worker. She was very empathetic, advising that she'd notify management and maintenance. She stated that the hotel takes such customer issues seriously and that the night worker had also notified others of this issue. She advised that the issue would be addressed and apologized for the situation. We've stayed with Best Western many times over the last several years, but never have had issues with doors freely opening with no key. Hopefully, this is a one-off fluke door key system failure that never happens again. But it is unsettling to think that it is possible that our rooms aren't as secure as they should be. We will be double and triple - checking our door locks in the future. You may want to do the same.

I almost never write bad reviews, but I have to warn you. Best Western Plus Kingsland was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I not only had to change my room once, but twice. The first night I checked in, I wasn’t aware of the severity of the moisture problem. I didn't see mold in that first room, but I slept in it and you could literally breathe in the moisture the second you walked in. The front desk girl kindly switched it for me, but when I got back later that day, the second room was even worse: soft walls, wet carpets (my clothes in my bag were already moist from the carpet the night before), and mold in the bathroom and on the walls. When I brought it up, the girl upfront tried to claim it’s just a "down South problem" with humidity settling close to the ground. I told her straight up: I live in Florida, and we do not have these problems—it is a quality issue, so I don’t know what she’s talking about. She literally stated that the rooms aren’t her problem, however, customers are her problem though. I finally got moved to a third room, this time upstairs, and it had no problems and was okay. The day upon leaving, I didn’t feel well, and by the next day, I started having trouble breathing. I am immunocompromised and actively on a kidney transplant waiting list. I’ve since had to get a chest X-ray and am currently on antibiotics under medical supervision due to exposure to their active mold and moisture. They didn’t offer any refund or make any effort to make it right. Given the severe health hazard and unacceptable conditions, management needs to step up and take accountability immediately. Consider this a serious warning to anyone thinking of staying here.
