- SNShea NallAug 24, 20261.0This was absolutely the WORST stay of my life in a hotel. Our original booking was at a different hotel and it got canceled because they over booked so we had to find something asap. a “upgraded suite” was $558 for two nights. The lobby had no air conditioning. Our room was filthy and on top of that we had our one year old and three year old and our next door neighbors were stomping and beating on the walls. So naturally our one year old couldn’t sleep and kept crying. The front desk called and told me they were making multiple noise complaints and I need to make my baby stop crying. We left and didn’t even stay the second night and checked out at 8pm because of the noise. DO NOT recommend if you have small children or want a nice hotel room.

We were about to give up and go home but decided to see if holiday inn express had any rooms, they had a suite left. Great place to stay. Great location, Very clean, very nice staff, good coffee and breakfast, and it was quiet.

- ACAlex CookAug 10, 20265.0Really exceeded my family’s expectations. Room was updated with furnishings and features, clean, and comfortable (lots of pillows :) ). We were able to hop in the river at the edge of the property then head back to the indoor pool at the hotel- kids loved it. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and courteous. We arrived earlier than our checkin time and the front desk allowed us to go ahead and secure our parking voucher so we could explore the town (a short walk). Diana was super understanding when we misplaced our keys and helped get us new ones- even empathized with us. Breakfast was hot fresh and tasty. Will be back for sure when staying in Helen .
