  Breakfast needs a little work to get there, but was ok and seems standard to Holiday Inn. Check in lady was very nice considering it was 10pm, lol. Room was fine. 2 bed. Air was cool. TV worked. What more do you want? Would say the rate was ok, but somewhat steep, maybe $30 more a night then its worth

  It seemed to be a clean hotel until we moved the blankets on the bed and there was blood on the sheet. Moved to another room and went from having a nice view to a horrible one and a room smelling… Then as soon as everyone is sleeping there fire alarms go off at 9 after night and wake my four year old daughter up.. This was definitely not a relaxing stay for me and truly wish I chose a different hotel. The only thing that was nice was having a wonderful front desk lady Janiyah Hatcher for being a wonderful worker and trying her best to help her guests…

  Immediately notice a spacious and clean lobby. Check in was easy, desk person was very business, no small talk. The room was immaculate. The shower looked brand new clean! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water and it had a foot bar in the shower. The shower doors had a towel bar installed so you can easily grab your towel. Inside the doorway there were hooks on the wall and a small shelf for keys. This was a nice touch. The room had light sconces and electrical and usb ports on both sides of the bed. Very considerate. There was an uphosltered chaise next to the window with a tray table next to it. All of these little nuances are much appreciated. Most important the bed was nice and firm. A full hot breakfast was available till 9:30am. I have been 7 days on the road and it was my best sleep yet.

  Do not stay at this hotel. Just go next door to the Tru because if your trip changes, you will not be able to get help and may be out money like we are for no reason. We stay in this area frequently to go to Durhamtown so we were very excited to try this brand new hotel when we saw it had opened. We planned a trip months in advance but a few weeks before the trip, the dates we needed changed slightly so we canceled that reservation and made a new one which was one day later. Again, this is still weeks in advance. The hotel management will not give us our money back and claimed we were a no show for the first night. This wasn’t true and we had a confirmation number to prove that the original trip was canceled and rebooked with a day later check in but we are unable to get anyone within hotel management to assist so after months of fighting this with management, we are still out about $150 for a change to our stay that was made weeks in advance. Holiday Inn corporate sent this hotel’s management the needed documentation and still no action. The owner of this hotel should investigate this because at this point, this is just theft. This is unacceptable and I’d like to prevent this from happening to more families like ours.

  We genuinely liked the accommodations here. The room was great. We did however notice the dangerous practice of mopping the floors during the busiest past of the morning. In the middle of people going for coffee and breakfast they keep on mopping with no cones to warn anyone. We saw a little girl get hurt after falling on her face. Not cool. They did this everyday which made no sense. Wait until the busiest part of the day is over to mop.
