  Gia from the hotel was super kind and helpful. We came in from traveling almost 24 hours from overseas and realized we had booked the wrong candlewood suites. She was patient and worked with us to remediate the issue and get our reservations switched. She made phone calls, kept such a positive attitude and all while helping multiple other customers. Her professionalism and kindness was so needed and it meant the world to my family.

  Stay was 19-24 April 2026 for business. The hotel is clean, plenty of parking, grounds are well kept up. Normally concerned about staying in locations with animals welcomed because of allergies but this one is kept clean. Did not hear one dog bark, owners were walking dogs and cleaning up after them and there were some large dogs. None brought to breakfast around my food. Hotel is across the street from Post Exchange and Commissary. The other side is across the street from a big field with playground for kids and two for dogs. The field has wide sidewalks for us athletes that want to walk or run. The place is quiet at night and felt safe the whole time. Very nice experience. Only one suggestion would be create more 4 seat table setups for soldiers and less on the two seat table setups. There are only three 4-seater tables and the soldiers wanted to sit more together, which is normal and could not. I watched a mother with a baby in a highchair and toddler take up 1 of the 4 seat tables, when she should have taken a two seat table and slide the highchair there. Some soldiers could not sit together or had to take chairs from other tables to sit 3 to a round table. There is plenty of room to put more tables together and more tables into that dinning area. Area can afford to have two 6-seat setup as well. A lot of wasted space. When back in town probably in September, will stay again.

  The stay at Candlewood Suites Building 38300 was pretty average overall. The room was decent, but could definitely use some updates and a deeper clean. Service was okay—nothing terrible, but not especially helpful or memorable either. The location is convenient, which is probably the biggest plus. Not a bad option if you just need a place to stay for a short trip, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

  This hotel is located on the Fort Gordon military base, so you'll need base access (Active, retired, other civilian) to a military facility in order to stay at this location. The room was great. It was a studio apartment and it was equipped with pots, pans, plates and silverware. There was a full sized fridge, a microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher and a 2 burner stove. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner was quiet. The hotel is located a short walk from the BX and a little longer walk to the commissary. The hotel is across the street from a large area with a dog park and a people park. There is sidewalk around the entire area. At a casual walking pace it took about 30 minutes to walk around the entire perimeter. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast.

  Oh this place right here! Thank you to the Evening front desk attendant that was very informative and patient with us during our check in for Masters Week. This place is so clean, peaceful, accomodating and priced very well! We will be back and I highly recommend 10/10!!. We had a kitchenette along with a full size fridge, as well as a cooktop! IHG give the entire team a good Ole pat on the back and a thank you from my family to the entire team! 🌟🌟
