This is the worst hotel I have ever stay. We stayed here for 3 days. The first day was fine. The second day, the elevator was on maintenance. Fortunately, that our room was on the 3 floor. We have to walked from the staircase to and from the third floor. The worst part is the final night. They had power outage around midnight. We have to sleep in a room without ac and light. Seriously????? The entire hotel blackout. Smh!!!

Very disappointing experience at Staybridge Suites Atlanta NE - Duluth by IHG. A few hours after we checked into our prepaid King Suite, the elevator broke down due to a power outage. I understand that unexpected issues happen, but what disappointed me was how the hotel handled the situation. No one informed us about the outage. I only discovered it when I left my room and found the elevator wasn’t working. After asking the front desk, I was told what had happened. Traveling with an infant, a stroller, and luggage, I requested an equivalent room on a lower floor. Instead, I was offered a smaller Queen Room at the same price, with no compensation. The front desk staff were polite, but management failed to provide a fair solution. Good customer service is not about preventing every problem—it’s about how problems are handled. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to communicate, failed to take responsibility, and expected guests to bear the inconvenience. Very disappointing.

Nightmare check in process! I was traveling for a very important oncological surgery and had to stay for at least a week for post op appt after surgery. Due to the high cost of rooms for World Cup, my friend stepped in to help pay for the room with points from her corporate AMEX card. She added me as the guest. My friend called the morning of to verify the reservation and they charged her card! She told them I would be there to check in later and they said no problem! I arrived and boy oh boy did the devil have his minion waiting or what!? Carol Miller. The one name mentioned over and over again in multiple negative reviews. She made me pay for the room with my own card, even though they had already received payment from my friend on her corporate card. So the room was paid for twice before they would let me check in. Then she tried to act like my card was declined, like she was trying to embarrass me, the card was not declined, because as soon as she handed it back to me I swiped the chip and it was accepted. What a terrible actor. I asked her how long does it take to get to the hospital from here? She fires back, "I don't know anywhere there's a hospital around here." She lives here. She has worked here AT LEAST 3 years. Nasty, short, curt, hateful, smart allec tone. She came around the counter and said ,You ready Ms. Lehn?! As I was making note of her name, managers name and owners name at the counter. She said this as she was tapping the room keys loudly on the counter and posturing herself like she was sizing me up in a threatening manner. Don't take my word for it, look at all of the negative reviews where she is called out by name. I was telling my friend that booked the room on the phone that she was being nasty towards me and unhelpful and she cocked back at me as I was I was walking out the door to retreive my luggage and help my elderly mother, "You da one das nasty." Unbelievable. Never in my life, and I have traveled all over this country and others, have I encountered the hatred and pure vitriol of Carol Miller. You can tell this is an ongoing issue with her and she's never been disciplined accordingly because the negative reviews mentioning her by name go back 3 years on here. She's got issues in customer service and should not be the face of Hilton. The Sales Mgr. Tanisha took over to resolve the issues and complete damage control for Carol Miller. She sent the form to my friend and the administrative portion was handled according to policy and procedure. Tanisha also kindly helped us connect to the Internet as it was not allowing our room number to connect to the wifi. My friend felt terrible for what happened to me and I felt terrible that her good deed of reserving the room for my medical surgery had gone punished. My friend sent flowers to me after my surgery and they never let us know. Didn't call the room, didn't bring them up....nothing. My mother only found out when she went downstairs to ask for water bottles because the tap water tastes like bleach. We couldn't drink it it was so chlorinated. My mother commented on the flowers at the front desk, that they were beautiful and the front desk said, "oh are you in room 205?" We have no idea how long they had been down there. When my mother tried to pay for the bottle of water, she tried to charge her $7 for one regular bottle of water, my mom said...the sign reads $5. She didn't believe my mother, so he went to check the sign for herself. My mother also asked for coffee for the coffee maker in our suite because housekeeping didn't replenish it, and she said, "We don't give you coffee in your room everyday." What a joke this place was. $1,700.oo For 7 days. I chose a hotel instead of VRBO to make life easier on my mother while she cared for me after my medical procedure. That was not the case, this stay here stressed us both out. Never again!

Stayed here with a wedding party and I have no complaints. Alexis the receptionist was amazing the morning receptionist was as well. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, very affordable, breakfast was great, the scenery and environment was calm and peaceful. I had a medical emergency and Alexis was a life saver exceeded her role to assure I was taken care of, I am so thankful she was the receptionist during my emergency she even led the paramedics to my room and let them in -with my permission because I couldn't walk! A real life HERO!

I was coming to the area and called ahead to get a room on the first floor. (Traveling with medical equipment and a baby. The guy I spoke with saved me a first floor room and I went ahead and paid online. When I got to the hotel I was waiting about 30 minutes or so and it was already super late after midnight. I was told that they checked someone else in under my reservation and that person is in the room and I also seen the paper that was signed by said person with ALL of my information on it! She even called to the room of that person because evidently the person did not pay and was under my name as well as my PAID room. Mind you the card on file for her room and my new one is MINE- so now I have to worry about someone charging from the market on my card! Secondly, another concerning thing was ther person signed a form with ALL of my personal information on it and it was hi-lighted so this person clearly viewed all of my information. I assumed ID is supposed to be checked at check in so this mistake should not have happened! Now because of the late arrival I will be sleeping late in the morning and was looking to extend my reservation tomorrow.
