  Attended the Zach Williams and Third Day concert at gas south arena. The hotel was a quarter of a mile away from the arena. The Westin is closer but 4 times more expensive. The holiday inn was fantastic. From Wendy at the front desk. To the room itself. And the fabulous breakfast. Definitely will stay again when I attend an event at gas south arena.

  I checked in 3 pm Sunday May 10th. Wendy greeted me courteously and professionally. She had my room ready very quickly. I was in town for the Zach Williams and Third Day concert at nearby gas south arena. Everything about the hotel was excellent! Location is a quarter mile from gas south arena. The price was exceptional under $100 and that included all fees, taxes and $4.99 breakfast add on. I'll mention that later. All the other staff were very friendly. The room was prepared at a high level by housekeeping. Bed was comfortable. Back to breakfast, my goodness it was incredible. Handmade eggs, southern seasoned potatoes, thick bacon, turkey sausage and there was so much more. Plus it's a buffet too. Yes I went This WASN'T the continental so called breakfast many hotels serve. Yes I came back for second's on the potatoes, turkey sausage, eggs and thick bacon LOL 🤣! Back to price under $100. The Westin which is about 100 yards closer to gas south arena was over $400 add in mandatory fee parking. In closing if I every need to attend an event at gas south arena. My FIRST choice of hotel will be the holiday inn at gas south. Thank you AGAIN for a wonderful time. Sincerely, Frank from Tennessee.

  Booked and paid for 1 night through a third party travel site (for $119). We checked in around 4pm and the front desk lady took my ID and credit card (I assumed for incidentals) and she typed in my email. I went down later and said something about email and another girl at the front desk said If I book through a 3rd party, the hotel doesn’t send me any emails. We check out around 7am the next day. A few days later I see a pending $500+ charge on my credit card from Holiday Inn. I call the hotel saying I paid through a 3rd party and there shouldn’t be any charges. She said there’s a note that that charge was a mistake and was reversed. Also we discovered they typed in my email wrong. A few days later there’s a charge for $121 from Holiday Inn. Call the hotel again and was told to call back when the manager is in. I got in touch with the travel site to help me. After back and forth, the hotel says they are charging $121 because I was a “no-show” and refuse to refund that. I was very much there in room 524 and very much clearly stated “I’m checking in” and rode up and down in your rickety old elevator, but somehow that’s a “no-show” and subject to penalty? So I was charged for both the night I stayed and also charged a “no-show” penalty because they said I wasn’t there. And they are refusing to refund the “no-show” charge… even though, just to make it clear, we did indeed check-in, play in the pool, and sleep there.
