- KKKAug 24, 20262.0Our one-night stay was a bit of a mixed experience. Check-in was extremely smooth, and the front desk staff we interacted with were wonderful, kind, and helpful. The room itself appeared relatively clean, and we had no complaints about the breakfast. That said, two of the three guests staying in our room developed bites two days after our stay. Both guests had slept in the same bed during our one-night stay, while the following night they slept in completely separate beds at a different location. We reached out to the hotel to make them aware of what happened and asked that the room be inspected. The front desk manager followed up with us and stated that, after inspection, there was no evidence of any bed bugs present. There was also remodeling happening during our stay, which was somewhat unexpected. Tile was being broken up and wallpaper was being removed in the main lobby. Some of what was visible behind the wallpaper was concerning, including what appeared to be black mold. On the positive side, the remodeling was not loud at all, and the walls between rooms seemed quite solid, so noise was not an issue. Overall, there were definitely some positives, particularly the friendly staff, smooth check-in, and quiet rooms. However, the circumstances surrounding the bites after our stay were definitely something we took note of regarding future stays.
