  I had a wonderful stay at Best Western and was treated extremely well. From the moment I arrived, the lady at the front desk was attentive, sweet, and genuinely kind. I truly appreciated the way she treated me and made me feel welcome. But I have to give a special shoutout to the breakfast attendant, Pooh Bear! She was an absolute sweetheart. Even though she was already cleaning up breakfast, she still stopped and asked me, “Baby, would you like something to eat?” She made sure I had some grits and sausage and even encouraged me to take a muffin back to my room if I couldn't finish it. It's the little things like that that people remember. She didn't have to go out of her way, but she did simply because she cared. That type of genuine kindness and hospitality is rare. Pooh Bear, please keep being exactly who you are. You made my stay extra special, and I truly appreciate you!

  This Best Western totally changed my perception on best western. Very convient location off the highway. But the service was beyond exceptional. The front desk staff and breakfast chef on Saturday morning made our morning. They were so friendly and kind, engaging in fun conversations that made us laugh. If I need a night to stay again it will be here simply due to their service.

  First of all...its a great location...right near the highway with plenty of nearby restaurants....the staff is wonderful...very gracious...rooms are very clean and comfortable..breakfast is amazing...with fresh hot food....plenty of parking in the well lit lot...very affordable...

  A gem! Heat Index was 115° & I decided to just stop to rest (instead of continuing on to Perry). Best decision! Great rate on hotels dot com. Miss Kathy, Front Desk, greeted me immediately, had my reservation, and was efficient & friendly throughout the check-in process. She also provided me with all info. The 2nd floor room is up 1 flight of stairs and through a door into the hallway. Room itself has small, adequate closet & small, well-laid- out bathroom with shower and tub, commode, & sink. All toiletries and towels provided. Bed is super comfy with the best pillows. Two nightstands with lamps and charging for devices. The usual a/c unit - cold air! An armchair with floor lamp. Small desk with chair, lamp, 1-cup coffeemaker, hot & cold cups, coffee, sugar, stirrers, etcetera. Large TV on top of a unit with small microwave and small fridge on "shelves" below. Full-length wall mirror! Trash cans in main area & bathroom. Medium-size room is maximized for best use of space; same goes for small bathroom with maximized storage for towels, etcetera. There is also a small "balcony" with sliding door on the far side of the room. I did not open the slider or use the "balcony". Extremely clean and fresh-smelling throughout room, hallways, lobby, front desk, and breakfast areas! Exterior also exceptionally clean and neat. My only suggestions would be: 1) with the size of the room & for safety's sake and any quick exit for an emergency, I would permanently remove the armchair and the floor lamp; and, 2) in the bathroom, I would relocate the Ice Bucket to the right of the TV or place it on top of the fridge. It is not hygenic to have it located in the bathroom. In conclusion, the best place to stay and excellent value for the money spent. If all goes well tomorrow with my appointment in Perry, I intend to stay at Best Western Colonial Inn tomorrow night, too (before my return trip to Florida)!!! Highly recommend!!!   At check in Kathy greeted us and she was exceptional. So nice and explained everything to us clearly on where our room was located. In the evening we went down to get fresh baked cookies and were greeted by Kadashia and Lakeesha. They were fantatsic on assisting us with finding local goods and the cookies were great. We then went down in the morning for the complementary breakfast. The waffles and grits were tasty. Again we were greeted by Kathy and also met Salyndale (Pooh Bear). They were so friendly with conversation and telling us about the area. It has been a long time since I have had such great service at a hotel. Anytime I come back to this area I will be staying here. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Sorry if I misspelled anyone's name, I tried my best.
