- LMLaura Guzman MoncibaizJun 15, 20263.0We went for my son’s army ceremony. It was all excitement so didn’t want to spoil our trip by thinking negatively during our recent stay. Overall it was ok but mainly my concerns: I had no A/C in our first two bedroom suite we reserved, when switched rooms it was a king size bed suite and wasn’t honored the price difference of the room cost. Housekeeping only went once during our three night stay and NOT once to my sons and his Fiancée’s suite. They never had housekeeping all three nights so you can imagine the trash cans. Yes we brought it to the managers attention. The staff was so sweet and nice so again we were just trying to enjoy the trip and overall visit. They could’ve been short staffed ..I felt like coming here to give an honest review of my stay late May.

Made a same day reservation online after having an AWFUL overnight stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton down the highway. Amenah (hope I spelled her name correctly) was extremely helpful and had a very friendly disposition. The kids enjoyed the pool. The rooms were very clean and tidied up every day of our stay. The free buffet was a nice amenity and the staff was friendly. I doubt we would have another reason to travel to Columbus, GA. However, I did sign up for IHG after the great stay that we had here.

So I called and asked could they pus my reservation back a day and a manager got in the ovine and said yes and I received a new confirmation e-mail. So Friday at 12:30 they call and say the new reservation was cancelled and changed back to the original. I asked why and the girl on the phone said the GM Lora did it. I asked to speak to her and she said yep she is right here hold on. Then she comes back and says Lora stepped out. So 4 calls later with my name and number and still no call back or answer from Lora. I have stayed here 5 times in the last 3 months and stayed with the IHG hotels 25 times in the last two years.
