  My partner and I stayed at the hotel this past Wednesday and Thursday while we were in town for a funeral. From the moment we arrived, Steven and Bree were phenomenal and made an understandably difficult trip a little more enjoyable. Steven was incredibly helpful. Since our room wasn’t quite ready, he graciously allowed us to store our clothes in a secure room while we attended the funeral service. That small gesture made a big difference and took one less thing off our minds during an already emotional time. Bree was also super nice and welcoming. During our conversation, I mentioned that I live in Alpharetta, and she remembered a restaurant in the area Up on the Roof. I thought that was such a thoughtful touch—it felt like she was genuinely interested in making sure we had a pleasant experience. Our room was nice, the staff was extremely friendly, and we had absolutely no issues or complaints. The hospitality we received from Steven, Bree, and the rest of the staff really stood out to us. They made our stay so enjoyable that we are already considering coming back in the fall. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay comfortable and memorable. We truly appreciate it!

  Beautiful stay with staff that went above and beyond and worked with us to make our stay as fluid as possible. Easily the best stay I’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone coming to visit that wants a nice stay!

  Great room with supurb customer service. Everyone was lovely and so helpful. Great location ... close to everything but tucked away so it is quiet, and only about a 4-5 minute walk to train station. Also behind hotel you can take a quick walk to the river which is so pretty. They made our anniversary celebration so special. Thank you for the champagne!!! Will definitely stay here again.

  Cannot recommend this place enough. From the initial greetings by the valet team all the way through 6 days, this property makes you feel at home. Absolutely the greatest staff at this hotel than any other place I have stayed. Convenient to everything in downtown Columbus, good food, to notch accommodations, clean hotel and the pool was perfect for those hot days. Well maintained for sure!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hotel Indigo Columbus Riverfront was disappointing from the very beginning. I intentionally booked my room with the option to pay upon arrival. On the morning of my trip, the hotel attempted to charge my card anyway. When the payment declined, I called to find out why and was told that because it was a busy weekend, my reservation could be canceled and my room sold to someone else if I didn't pay immediately. Since I was traveling four hours from out of town for a family gathering, I felt pressured into paying over the phone out of fear of losing my reservation. After my payment was processed, I was then told I would have actually received a phone call or email before any cancellation, which completely contradicted what I had been told just moments earlier. That policy was never disclosed when I booked. Then, after driving four hours through heavy weekend traffic, I arrived after 4:00 p.m. only to be told my room wasn't ready. My family and I waited in the lobby for over two hours before we were finally given a room. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of empathy from the staff member assisting us. There was no apology that felt sincere, no concern for the inconvenience we experienced, and no effort to make things right. At no point was any form of compensation, accommodation, or goodwill gesture offered despite the lengthy delay and the stress this entire experience caused. I paid in advance because I was made to believe my reservation was at risk, yet when I arrived, the room I had already paid for still wasn't available. The conflicting information, lack of transparency, poor customer service, and failure to have my room ready at check-in created unnecessary stress and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable weekend. I expected much better from a Hotel Indigo property and hope management takes these concerns seriously so future guests don't experience the same treatment.
