    The rooms were clean and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay, the staff attentive and courteous. The location was a bit far out from where I needed to be, but an ok spot I guess.

    Found the hotel to be very clean, in a very good area, close to shopping and many restaurants. Needed a place close to Piedmont North Hospital. This one worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be back here again for the next surgery.

    The rooms were spacious and clean. Could use some love and care, a few dents and smudges on the walls. They do not have breakfast; however the rooms have a stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, and dishwasher. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

    I was arriving in town for son’s graduation at Fort Benning and had arrived earlier than anticipated. I already had a hotel for the next two nights and just needed this one night. I found online reservations for IHG that this hotel had two rooms available for $142/night as all others appeared booked up. Instead of trying to make reservation through the online booking, I called the hotel and was told that there was only one room available and it would be $210/night. When I inquired why the price was higher, the lady told me that was the price. Instead of arguing I told her I would take the room and would deal with this in person. I gave her my information and credit card info and she then comes back after several minutes and states that the room is no longer available. She then proceeds to tell me she has another room with a queen bed for $270. I questioned her again and asked her why she told me she only had one room and questioned how the rates are going up as I am talking to her when the online price showed $142. Again, she made up some story of how the rates go up. I was too tired to argue and told her to give me the room. I was again on hold for several minutes before she came back and said she no longer had any rooms. I asked her to speak to a manager. A man named Joseph proceeds to take over the call and tells me he is the supervisor. I asked him for the District manager’s name and contact and he stated he didn’t have that information. He proceeded to deflect my questions of how I was told they had one room then sold that and then had another and now after 21 minutes on phone, they were sold out. These incompetent people charged my credit card 5 times with random amounts all for over $2XX.XX. Not to mention for next two hours I proceeded to get texts from a Marinella telling me that when I am ready to make the reservation to call them back as well as emails since they had my information. I immediately received an alert from credit card company stating possible fraudulent activity. Bottom line, this hotel is a complete embarrassment to the hotel industry and should fix their problems. Read through the reviews and look at their responses to the issues reported. They just clearly give a fluffy answer in the form of a digital hug and say, “sorry, have safe travels.” My opinion, stay somewhere else. UPDATE TO BELOW COMMENT: Your response states you are an owner, but you don’t provide a name or way of contacting you to discuss. With that said, and two weeks after review posted, you may want to get more information before allegedly calling me a liar telling me I have the wrong property. I have attached two photos and when I returned home after trip, I did call that number again and verify that this is not a third party reservation facility making reservations for IHG. The woman stated they were part of the hotel reservations for the Candlewood Suites on 6611 Whittlesey Blvd, Columbus, GA. If you would like, go ahead and send me an email or give me a phone number to further discuss. Otherwise, my review stands as it is.
