All around bad experience. We booked through a third party a week in advance. When we got to the hotel we spent 2 hours in the lobby before being informed they could pull up our reservation but could not print the key because their system was down. Our only option was to rebook right there and pay almost 2x what we orginally paid with no refund. We orginally booked a 2 bed and got one to share with our family of 4 and in the middle of the night the power went out. My daughter is on a feeding tube connected to an electric pump.we tried to get a refund and spent more than 3 hours on the phone with an extremely rude customer service representative putting the blame on everyone but holiday inns technical problem or the problem with the power . So far we still haven't seen a refund and are out almsot $400

Spent a week here in June for work. When I travel I usually stay at holiday inns, this is because I can usually expect a particular level of quality and comfort... not claiming i am looking for vacation vibes, just consistency. This Holiday Inn failed to meet that consistency. Firstly and though no fault of the hotel ... it is in a part of town that as one coming out of state to visit made me feel uncomfortable, though a heavy police presence though out the nights in the immediate surrounding areas at least indicates an attempt to improve the the location even if it also a sign that maybe best to avoid the area.
The hotel itself was older and did not carry the ascetic I expect from a holiday inn. There were several service issues as well with elevator out of order, and ones that did operate where comical on the slowness. The 5th floor hallway had the heat on in June! Guess they apparently do not know how to shut it off... so there were industrial fans the loudly were trying to evaluate the hot air so you would not suffer heat exhaustion attempting to walk to you room.
The staff ... though never rude we the least welcoming staff at a front desk I have seen at a holiday inn... the did not look like they wanted to help, never offered a greeting and more just stared in my direction till I would ask for what I needed... as a guest it made it feel akward like what was i doing there... but once the communication barrier was breached , they were accommodating and not rude ... just well cold. The house keepers on the other hand despite being very busy were pleasant and the bright spot to a dim experience.
I personally would not recommend this hotel as I feel it should be stripped of the holiday inn name for it lowers the standards of expectations one envisions of a holiday inn. I did let my coworkers that were coming to Atlanta after my stay know to seek different accommodations.
However I will note that my actual room was not as bad as I have made the hotel sound, but the vibe of getting to my room ... less than ideal

Understaffed, unclean, and unsafe. The room floors were sticky, covered in hair, caked in debris from the last who knows how many guests. We found roach feces and bottles under the beds, and stains on our "clean" sheets.
We stayed in an "accessible room"- it is anything but that. The bathroom toilet leaks water all over the floor whenever flushed- an incredible health hazard by the way- and the shower drains at an exponentially slow rate, leaving us standing in scummy water and prone to slipping. There is no shower door or curtain and water gets EVERYWHERE when you use it. No vent either. No wonder the place smells like mildew. The lack of ample hooks or bars in the bathroom makes the idea of paying for a suite that can supposedly fit five people laughable. Where does anyone put anything? The key-card doors, parking lot gate, and elevators are a complete and utter joke. At the end of the trip, we had a total of five room cards to return due to the system not registering our cards properly. They worked for the first day, then would 'expire' leaving us locked out of our room at all hours of the day. We had to go up and down the stairs multiple times because the elevators would break down or falter on floors and waiting was just not worth it when we'd be at our desired floor well before the elevators would even get there.
The only saving grace of the hotel is the staff. They genuinely keep this place running and it appears to me that the owners do not care enough about the guests and makes the staff take all of the heat. Shout out to Anthony- on his SECOND DAY- dealing with most of our issues with a big smile on his face. The front desk staff ladies were extremely kind and helpful even when we were lined up almost out the door at 12am. They seriously have the most amazing people out here. It is such a shame that for a hotel that gets so much traffic, the company who owns them cannot seem to pay for repairs or proper staffing to help all the guests that fund it. Weird.
For anyone who looks through these reviews to decide if they want to book this place or not, this is your sign. Pick anywhere else.

Water was out in the area. I made the reservation two weeks ago and they didnt even bother to warn me that they weren't allowing anyone to check-in. I needed to stay for two nights because I am flying out of Atlanta Airport.
This is a Saturday evening and they didn't even notify me. I am not local so I had to find another hotel....tha ks God for Hilton because I called IHG customer service and they were totally unhelpful as well as the associates.
I will never stay in IHG again!!

I had a decent stay with this hotel. Staff was very kind. I only stayed for the night because I was at a concert downtown.
Pros: Very clean and nice bathroom and shower. Beds were comfortable, spacious, and clean. TV worked.
Cons: You are charged extra to pay on property. My key card did not work, to get into my room or the parking garage. They made me a physical but that didn’t work either so I had to wake my siblings at 2AM to get into the room. I also ended up in room on the 6th floor, end of the hallway- which was annoying but not their fault!
Overall, my stay was decent enough. Strange area of town, but nothing crazy.
