  Checked in about 8:30pm. The room was very nice and clean!! However, I reserved a handicap accessible room for my 79 year old mother whose had a stroke and uses a walker. The room was not in an ideal place for a handicap person. It was on the 3rd floor, down a long hallway far away from the elevator. There was an elevator right around the corner from the room but we had to use a staff elevator down the hall due to construction. Understood but maybe could have chosen another room. The only other issue was the temp in the room. There was a "thermostat" on the wall that read 69°. It was nice and cool at first. Some time after about 11, it got warm in the room and the unit wasn't coming on. We were unable to change the temp by the unit along the wall or by the thermostat on the wall. I woke up multiple times very warm. I finally went to my car at 5am to get a fan. The unit had not come back on by the time we checked out at a little after 11. (We get late check out if requested). The temp reading on that "thermostat " never changed. I almost think it isn't even real. I also forgot to note that there wasn't a bath mat left which is very dangerous for someone using a handicap accessible bathtub/shower. The bathtub/shower had a lot of handles for safety but would probably be safer if it were a walk in shower. It would also be nice to offer a little more time to allow handicapped people to get to breakfast. Maybe a cutoff of 10 or 10:30.

  Waited 20 minutes on the lobby, when some one finally showed up they said they had no rooms even though there were no cars on the parking lot, just avoid this place

  Great rooms bed was perfect. They are going through a remodel and it looks awesome

  Tried to use the QR code in the elevator to leave a review but it said im not here. Convenient huh? Only had one request, to be away from the freeway. Got a room 1 door off the freeway. Gee thanks . If the lazy woman with the attitude could be bothered to put down her phone and candy maybe we could get a better room. One elevator, no pool, whole thing under renovation. Podunk Cartersville. Never again. Worst location ever and we always use ihg. Might need to rethink that.
